Fantasy Premier League 23/24

Need help people.

I currently have Gabriel, Stones, Maddison and Darwin.

All three look dodgy af as of now. I need to know was the best way to deal with the one free transfer I have.

Edit- I also have Chilwell and Estu as other defender and some no name 4 Million def from Luton with nothing much to expect.
 
Atrocious week for me, ffs. Need to decide to either play wildcard or use my 2 free transfers and patiently build my way out of this.

I have Joao Pedro, Gabriel, Maddison (might be injured?) and then 3 United players (including an out of form Rashford) and 2 useless players on my bench.

Then the conundrum that is Salah. Could switch him to Diaz and save close to 5m. (i think its 12 v 7 price wise).

Could stick with my 3 United players this week as we're playing Forest home. Ideally i think it's too early for a WC.

The United players and Salah are not a priority. If you've saved the 2 transfers and don't want to wildcard then obviously Maddison>Gabriel>Pedro should be your focus for this week. Maddison definitely #1 if he's injured and you're lucky that there's lots of options at his price point and below.

Thanks bud, yeah, seems good advice. Though Salah has a tough away to Newcastle :nervous:

But yeah, need to take out those 3 and in the wider context, focus on improving my bench options as well.

That's the sort of game he'll probably grab a brace in (he hopes). But yeah I'll be reassessing whether I want him or not on my wildcard especially with the start that Diaz has had.

I thought I read Maddison left the stadium in a protective boot, but now he's 75% chance of playing. So maybe i'll hold tight.

Just checked through my team, and gosh, i got it a little wrong (even though i had a good GW1). Need to get rid of Maupay, Joao Pedro, Elanga (though he can remain as a bench option so now rush there), Gabriel.

Then the questionable ones: Baldock, Salah, Rashford (team and individual out of form)....guess if anything FF has taught me, is try not to knee jerk
 
50 feels like a victory this week.

6 flops plus captain from Manchester + Arse = 14 points
4 from Brighton + Villa = 34 points
 
Could Chukwuemeka's price (£4.5m) fall now it's confirmed he's out for 6 weeks?

Currently on 2.9% ownership.

How many people have to sell a player to trigger a price drop?

I think people have bigger fires to put out. I have him but he's not worth moving out to anyone in his price bracket just now. Would rather roll the transfer and deal with him then or on a wildcard. He's nowhere near a drop at the moment.

You are representing the Caf on the world stage so no pressure. That being said those seem like dodgy moves.

Really depends on the rest of your midfield and attack, you still have 2 of the top defenders, so as long as you're going 343 or 352 that's only 1 transfer to sort your defence for now, and maybe one more and a -4 to get rid of Darwin most likely.
 
Rashford and Bruno are ruining everything so far.

As usual I cba changing anything and will hope for the best.

Norwegian goalscoring Yeti will do his job again soon enough I suppose.

Man, you are moving Salah out and getting Havertz and Son ? This is not the time for differential. Stay with the pack now. Talk about differentials later.

Havertz and Son probably the most uninspired choice, for me.
 
Really tempted to take a couple of hits this week but not knee-jerking.

GK: Turner, Pickford
DEF: Estu, Gabriel, Chilwell, Udogie, Baldock
MID: Salah, Mitoma, Saka, Richarlison, Bruno
FWD: Joao Pedro, Haaland, Osula

JP > Wissa for now and holding. Would like to move Salah and Richarlison for Diaz and Mbuemo (?). That also frees up funds to upgrade GK (Ederson?), Def (Gvardiol) etc. in the coming weeks.

Well, I have both Salah and Rashford and let me tell you they are anything but turning me on. Not worth the price tag at all. I'll give them both GW3 and if they don't haul I'm punting them out to the pastures.

They are long term picks. Yes they started slow but if you didn't already get on the Mbeumo Wissa train then you are most likely too late.
 
Surprised at so many remaining with Rashford despite the way we're playing and with him showing complete lack of interest
 
  1. With 10 of my starting 11 at home this week, where do I use one of my 2 freebies? Baldock to 4m Chelsea man? Sub keeper?
  2. Which of that front 8 gets left out?! Have got it wrong with Wissa 1st week and Mitoma 2nd week
