I can feel a traditional gw3 wildcard coming on. I think if you're taking Salah out then you might as well go for a full squad reconstruction.

Looks like I'm going to weather the storm of making a few GW 1 mistakes. But I'm living proof that you can take a -8 point hit and still come out on top with a green arrow. Sorry to see United performing so poorly, but I had a feeling they just don't have a squad that will do much this season. With the biggest signing Mason Mount coming in from a mid-table club last season, my hopes for quality footy were deflated.
Now, if I can get past Haaland who I didn't captain, I'll be golden.

Positive, played Wissa this time.
Negative, benched Mitoma!

Bruno had so many chances to get points. Missed from 6 yards, would have assisted Antony for his post shot. Plenty of other efforts on target, and crosses. Usual deal, when you don't have him he suddenly smashed double digits.

Costly double blank with Rashy though.
But probably have to keep both for Forest, then Bruno has to go for Arsenal.

At least Salah only hit 5 points. Any non owners would have snapped the hand off that offer!

Forest have been defensively ok so far and that's all it takes to make the United frontline useless.

Still think it's too rash. We'll likely see a new front line against Forest which could mean we look better.

Bruno actually looked good from an FPL point of view today. He was playing more advanced than against Wolves and should have scored and had a penalty.

Don't believe for a second that Bruno or Rashford will get anything against Forest. If they do, good, hopefully means we'll win the game. Taking them both out.

17.5 million for 9 points. fecking hell. I can't believe that i fell into that trap.
Try 21m for 7 points. Fecking Salah even when he scored managed to sneak in a -2 in there. I'm raging here.

One more game and if they don't haul both of them are out. Fecking Mbeumo scored more points in a single GW than both these cnuts had in 2 weeks.

So KdB being injured, Gundogan leaving and Bernardo not actually wanting to truly be there and we finally have an ultra heavy usage Foden in the middle-ish.... but for how long?

Should I take out one of Foden, Martinelli or Rashford to bring in Mbeumo tonight?

As of right now... none of those names are even close to looking like they will change price tonight at least. So, umm, hold fire. He's also already 6.6, and I certainly never think jumping 5 days early is worth 0.1... especially when the .5 point has already gone.

I could have had Mbuemo, Diaz and (insert another 6.5m mid here) along with Mitoma and Saka with 4.8m left in the bank but instead I went with Rashford and Salah with nothing in the bank.

Mbuemo has scored a late late goal and two pens. Getting him might not be the best option. Gonna hold United 1 more game and hope I can recover ground.

Happy with not capping the Yeti this week! Now watch Saka score an own goal, miss a pen and get sent off.

Only plus football wise today is that I captained Salah, and that's got me a few points back as Haaland did nothing tonight.

Mbeumo wont go up tonight?

It's not 100% accurate but he's on 28% so he should not go up for a while yet.

I'm struggling with what to do. I have 2 FTs.

Onana
Gabriel, Chilwell, Estu
Saka, Martinelli, Maddison, Bruno, Rashford
Haaland, Pedro

Subs: Turner, Kabore, Archer, Beyer

Think I'll definitely do Pedro to Jackson but not sure what to do with second transfer.

Feel like giving the two United idiots one more game. Gabriel will be the transfer if he don't play the 90. Then I hear Maddison might be injured... But who to get in? Mitoma fixtures turn tough soon, Mbuemo I feel like was lucky to get the points and I'm probably late for that train, Foden looks decent... Diaby will be one I watch closely.

We have to see if Gabriel plays tmrw. If he doesnt thats a transfer waiting to happen. if not I still think I would bring in Mbuemo. His fixtures are still good to week like 6 or 7. Also I thought I saw Maddison left the stadium in crutches? Dont you have to transfer him out?

Edit: Didnt read the last sentence of your post:lol: You've basically already said what ive already said.

Yeah thinking I might cave in with Mbuemo but dunno who to take out. If Maddy is injured then it's an easy choice... If not... Then it's a bit more difficult between Martinelli, Bruno or Rash.

Surely Bruno. Cant wait for us to get a penalty for him to get points. We dont have a finisher. No point in him creating chances if there is no one at the end of them.

It should be easy even between the bolded 3 as well, no? I'd be looking at taking out 1 of the United lads. Preferably Bruno.

Seems our whole team has collectively lost their finishing ability. Bruno's stats will still look good on paper with all the xG's and xA's but the fact is there are 6.5m mids who score more FPL points than him.

I guess so. Just thought the forest game might change things but who am I kidding

The big surge this coming transfer week will be all over Spurs players because their next 3 are BOU FUL BUR then they have two difficult fixtures with ARS and LIV but then 3 more easier fixtures. The FPL YouTubers are going to be pushing Maddison hard. I've got a feeling Richarlson sill snag a hat-trick or a couple braces in the upcoming 3 fixtures. I'd like to get Son but I don't want to use most of my 4.4 M ITB
With all the injuries at City, it's shaken up the chemistry with them this week. I'll have to (c) Haaland vs Sheffield with the rest 99.99% of everyone else because they'll adjust by next week.

But I agree with you, Chelsea are looking like their players are going to have tremendous hauls with a long stretch of favorable fixtures. I already have N. Jackson. I've got to see if there are any possible midfielders worth going after.

In United, I do not trust
It's going to be a while before I even consider bringing them in. I thought Dalot played great in the pre-season. I have him on my bench but unfortunately he had zero minutes last week and only 24 minutes this week. Once I can offload him, he's gotta go too.

I'm sorry so many people are having a rough week. So, I'm not going to brag about my current rank.

Spurs assets are all shaky without Maddison in midfield. He is the glue holding them together. He went out of the stadium in crutches so he might be not for a couple of weeks.

My other concern with Spurs players, if I pull the trigger on Richarlson and they buy a replacement for Kane before the window closes, I'm likely to be stuck with a player that has limited minutes. I've made crazier moves, so there's still a chance I might gamble on it.
Shame about Maddison
