Rob Edwards said Burke and Mengi have doubts so that's basically ZERO centre backs fit and Kabore can't play because City are the parent club. No other injured players are back.

Injury list for defenders:
Lockyer
Osho
Bell
Burke
Potts
Andersen
Mengi

That means the only fit defenders are Doughty (who's carrying a knock) and Hashioka who has only played a handful of games.

City are gonna thump us and if Haaland even gets 20 minutes, he can get a hat trick.

Locked in captain. Be a stat padding session for him with KDB providing all the assists.

If I get a whiff of Foden not playing before the deadline tomorrow along with this Gabriel news as well then I think I'll take my hits this week for Jao Pedro and Van Hecke/Maguire. Hopefully that lump Toney will actually do something this week as well *prods him with a stick*

Dubravka
Ait nouri gusto bradley
Palmer foden son salah saka
Muniz haaland c

son to Diaz/Jota?

Gk - Areola to kelleher?

Areola
Gusto Gabriel Bradley
Salah Saka KdB Palmer Gordon
Haaland Isak

Bench: Pickford, Branthwaite, Udogoe, Muniz

Im not sure if i should bench Gordon to start Muniz

No way. Probably the most likely to be rested out of the lot. Diaz is probably the most nailed. Gvardiol has more threat. Rico Lewis if you're feeling frisky is probably gonna get a start in place of Stones.

Thought Stones might play in Rodri's position with the latter saying he needs a rest. Cheers for the response

Need to bench one of these, Foden because of his knock/Pep roulette?

Palmer - Everton (H)
Salah - Palace (H)
Foden - Luton (H)
Saka - Villa (H)
Luis Diaz - Palace (H)
Toney - Sheff Utd (H)
Solanke - United (H)
Darwin - Palace (H)

Those fixtures.

Captaincy dilemma too!

Edit: Forgot, Toney was dropped last week. Guess he'd be the other major contender to bench. Tricky one that.

Help help
None of the Liverpool forwards except Salah are guaranteed minutes now. Diaz, Gakpo, Darwin and Jota will share minutes. Son is guaranteed starter, pens and also has two DGW upcoming.

I wouldn't do that swap.

GK swap if you have nothing else to do.

Fair enough. Thanks !

What is the template BB for GW34 other than Pool and Arsenal?
I'm planning to BB in 34. I'll have 2 free transfer to make some tweaks but my current side is:

Sa
VVD, Gabriel, Reguillon
Salah, Saka, Palmer, Rice
Solanke, Toney, Haaland

Subs: Pickford, Ait Nouri, Eze, Branthwaite

Not sure who I'll take out or bring in just yet.

Palmer for the differential. Did it in GW31 and he's a beast at home.

Diaz maybe, not sure Jota starts straight away?

Sons fixtures : Newc (A), blank, Arse (H)/Chel (A), Liv (A), Burn (H)/City (H), S Utd (A). Don’t look that appealing to me, though he will play them all, pretty much gteed

Thing is, Son is the kind of player that can score in any game. Look what he did against City. He struggles more against low blocks. But in the big games, he's perfect because he's devastating on the counter.

Best choice from Mateta, Mcburnie and Cunha?? I’ll be wildcarding after the double week anyway…

Have 2 free transfers but struggling to see 1 this week.
May do my BB in 34 as have.a reasonable set up for that.

But what 1 transfer this week?
Considering Son to someone and would get him back for his 2 doubles as no game in BB week 34. Maybe Bruno who has Sheff Utd in 34.

Petrovic
White Gabriel gusto (ait nouri, branthwaite)
Saka salah son Palmer garnacho
Haaland (c) solanke (muniz)

Muniz v solanke is a debate too.

Van d is probably the only certainty unfortunately and expensive.
Can't be certain on full back and not sure Quansah will play every game.

I can’t decide which keeper to go with between Raya and Neto, any suggestions?

Whoops I was looking up Brentford fixtures there for Raya....
Bournemouth have a tough game v us today but a double next, both away though.
Arsenal are a much stronger team, also with a week 34 double, so probs not a debate if you can afford it.

I was about to correct you. Nice edit there

Early morning nonsense

Sod it I can't risk Son out, that screams being smacked.
Just gonna do Neto to Pickford on the bench.
Pickford's double next week is slightly better than Netos with the Forest home game. And only vaguely reasonable keeper I can switch to.
Does have Liverpool home but might get some saves.
Then still have 2 frees for next weeks double with BB too.

That’s a fair point.. I just needed to make some changes and that fixture run and being £10m+ didn’t marry up for me. Allows me to make a couple of changes with (on paper) good fixtures.

But based on almost every decision I’ve made going wrong, for all the Son owners…. you’re welcome
