Salah fully fit and expected to be involved. Bradley back too! That’s throw in the spinner for people thinking getting Darwin. Bradley would be a great punt but I already got ake and can’t have a pool player to make sure I field eleven players for next GW

Not getting Salah until GW30 wildcard so if he goes off this GW then fair play to anyone who has him.

Realistically he should have his minutes managed this gw, then a blank, Forest is the real scary one to miss, then City and then likely another blank before GW30.

Worth ripping up your team or wildcarding to get him in for one decent fixture plus the risk of low minutes this week? Not for me. It's annoying as a Jota and Darwin owner that they will likely see reduced mins in the double but both are the kind of players who have an impact from the bench anyway. Expect they'll start a game each and I'll want rid soon after anyway.

Current Team (doublers bolded)

Flekken
Doughty
Saliba Porro
Foden Jota Barkley Richarlison
Haaland (TC) Solanke Watkins

Bench: Dubs, Palmer, Estu, Branthwaite

Have 2 FTs and 6.6 ITB

Glaring high scoring omissions are Saka and Trippier. Is it worth now trying to get them, especially Trippier?
If I get Saka, then it will be for Palmer and Solanke would be benched this week.

I cannot decide on couple of things.
Should I be trying to get Darwin only to bench or sell him next week. I feel like I should not be selling Solanke or Watkins only to try to bring them back in coming weeks.

Or go from Porro to VVD this week and then VVD to Trippier next. Feels like a dumb idea just for the double. Pool defenders are not something I want to retain in the long run.

Maybe I should try to use 1FT this week and next week handle the double through 2 FTs.

Any other suggestions welcome.

With Porro being red-flagged, is his price frozen until next deadline?

With TAA most certainly out, who do I pick ? I’m between Dalot who has two nice fixtures in GW25 and GW26 or picking Brentford defender, Pinnock or Regulion, who have 3 fixtures.

Any help is welcome.

PS: Have both Porro and Udogie, need for defender is urgent.

Is there a reason why not many are going for Robertson? I feel like I've made an error here.

Im thinking about going with a City defender but who is the most likely to play all the fixtures?

With Gvardiol out, I think Ake could be playing all fixtures. Unfortunately, I already have three players from City.

Anyone wants to have a stab at this?

Seems like people are taking hits left right and centre to load up. Probably a red arrow this week but hopefully claw it back when they're hitting again next week to get a team out.

Some are chasing and like you say, will take hits in a week or two (though the move may still pay off if Liverpool and City players get double figures). Some might WC soon… I wouldn’t but there’s a lot of options and sometimes, not following the herd pays off.

Ive got two of each team, might do third City (though could just roll it) but not Liverpool and definitely wouldn’t do Salah (not for a hit anyway) as cant gtee his minutes given coming back and a final coming up

Yeah. I'm happy with double Liverpool due to the blank but am considering Doku in for Palmer. Worked it out and it's basically -4 for an extra game of Doku this week and an extra game of Barkley in GW28. On paper it makes sense? Means benching Bowen this week now but then West Ham are shit anyway.

With the news that Salah is loitering around, is it still a sensible play to do Watkins to Darwin?

Haaland TC a given.

To field

Dubs
Gab Maguire Trips
Saka, Garno, KDB, Jota
Watkins/Darwin, Haaland C, Alvarez

(Aerola, Palmer, Estu, Lascelles)
Estu at SU could be dangerous, but hard to leave any of the 3starter defenders out right now.

Usual rock n roll Friday off for a track sesh, but any thoughts gratefully received when I re-emerge more knackered but nicely satisfied later :)

If you've got fomo then yeah do it. I personally don't want to lose Watkins with this run of fixtures and guaranteed 90 every game but I also need him for next week and 29 to get a decent team out. You seem ok for 26 regardless so player numbers are not a factor for you..

And done. Went for the Doku punt with my FT.

Dubs
Trippier Gabriel Doughty
Doku Foden Jota Saka
Haaland Darwin Watkins

Subs: Nipples, Bowen, Estu, Porro

TC Yeti. 100 points or feck off.

Similar for me and no idea except selling Trent for sure. Gonna come down to the leaks.

Did my run early as day off, only a 5k as got poorly IT bands :(

Im biased as I think Darwin is an awful player (reminds me of Saha… give him time to think and he’s no good, instinctive shot he’s ‘ok’). Close though… Darwin : two games, might not get 180, as likely to hit the floodlights as score… Watkins : looks out of sorts, Villa back to the average team they are, Fulham away not easy but might get more counters/room. If not for a hit, I’d lean to Darwin begrudgingly

Dont see much between Maguire and Estu as similar opponents/difficulty but Estu probably has better chance of being involved in goal actions, but always good to go with United players as win/win if he/we do well.
