I would give that more thought. Liverpool has a high ceiling cover so you should ask if Diaz is worth using one extra transfer in 26 over those city guys. It's what I have to thing re Jalv and Darw
How are you navigating GW29? With the teams playing it feels difficult to field 11 but equally uninspiring for a FH.
Prob around 9 or 10 as of now with a hit. No FH.

It's the same for me if I try to attack the doubles. It's tricky. In my opinion just play what's in front of you and worst case whip out the FH and navigate the rest with WCAhhh, I thought you meant Liverpool Diaz and I was wondering why straight swap.

You need two of that bench to score/keep a CS for the four of them to get about the same? Soucek has got over 3 once in about a dozen games. So you’re thinking two CS out of three… not sure?
Also, your bench has realistically got a ceiling (say 8ish each)… no one would be surprised if Haaland got two doubles (and 2x3 BPS)?
TC for me but not that clear cut and if he’s rested in one, gets one goal in the other, your BB could do well. Pereonally, I think you’ll have better opportunities

Probably have to block Haaland but I'm in a monthly league within my league too which changes strategy, especially considering I've no hope of winning my league this season.

feck I can't get to Doku even if I do Estupidman to Reguilon. I would need to do Porro to Reguilon, but then that would feck up my GW29 plan. Better think again.

Doku - was there obvious choice but looking at his stats, he's been shit (bar one game). I'm 0.1 short as well so would need to do extra surgery.
Bilva - a minutes risk these days but his numbers are decent when he plays.
Rodri - for his price and position he has decent stats and is guaranteed starter but the low ceiling.
I'm starting to think the lot of them will flop.

These mid term plans are nice on paper but they just scream for the fantasy sods law to kick in with something unexpected happening.
I can get Doku straight in for Palmer. I'd probably bench boost instead of TC though if I did that as no way am I having all of Bowen, Porro and Estu on the bench this week.
Having slept on it, don't think Doku is a great idea. Look at his returns and xGI. It's shocking (bar one game).

Wouldn't Pep just consider pushing Foden wide left and bring Bilva in (+Alvarez?) - so Doku's minutes (without even adding in performances) doesn't seem gauranteed - even with Grealish out?
What is a good number of doublers to have this GW considering most of them will be TC… I have 4 now and thinking 5 is decent and best 6…. I also want to plan for GW29 as I stupidly used my FH by accident earlier in the season
Well this is the question. You have to weight up the impact in subsequent gameweeks. If you bring in a player for this double who blanks in 26 for example and they get benched/miss one of the game anyway then that could be a net loss in terms of minutes. Also has to be the right players. Haaland, Foden and KDB I think are clear for City if you can get to them. Would love KDB but it would require a hit for me this week and possibly more hits in subsequent weeks e.g BGW29
I could do Bowen and Trippier > KDB and Pau Torres I guess. Good fixtures and plays in 29 (if he's fit).
FFScout have named Strakosha (Brentford) for their busteam’s benchspot for a goalie without any explanation. Yet Flekken has been in goal all season. Anyone with a good explanation of why?

If you're going to attack that run of weeks more and use a FH or a wildcard somewhere then it's different obviously. I feel it's very risky as I have some good SGW players with form and fixtures like Saka and Twatkins who can haul any of those weeks. Even Trippier is due a big one soon. Obviously Bowen is a week link but even his fixtures are as good as it gets.
