More importantly, he's an excellent captain option in GW2 when he plays Bournemouth while Haaland plays Newcastle.
Personally I think it's worth starting with him just to try and spike that early captaincy. After that you can sell him in GW3 to any midfielder if you want to, freeing up funds for a major upgrade in any other position in the process.
I keep coming back to the Kane draft over the Salah one as well. Bench is better and Kane is more of a fulcrum to his team whereas Salah (as we saw against Bournemouth last season) is more of a general cog in a bigger attacking wheel. I've been on RAWK (spits) and the general vibe is he's transitioning into more of a playmaker now than a goalvscorer. Tbf you could say that about Kane as well but if he stays I think the new managers is going to want him in the box more.

Get that 2.5 into that midfield now and upgrade Andreas and Tielemens.
Diaby and Maddison would be great uses of those funds in my opinion.
86% of teams have Haaland I don’t think I’ve seen that high of a percentage in FPL history. Also must first time in ages not seeing Salah and Kane the top 3 in mids/forwards.
This is why Haaland is a write off as far as fpl is concerned. In effect we'll be fielding 10 players.

I put two United players in my team because your draw is a piece of piss for about the first 10 weeks. Might be something to ponder. Went with three Arsenal players for the same reason.

No1 looks much better. With Kane your midfield looks weak(ish). Every of those 6.5 mil midfielders is good to have but all 3 is too much.
The second one looks more interesting to me but I wouldn't want to go double Arsenal defence. If you can find a decent alternative to Saliba that looks like a good team.
First feels stronger unless you can nail some Kane hauls as captain.
Those are two really good moves! I would plump for one of those GKs as @CassiusClaymore suggested and that will give you some extra cash.
I can’t see Maddison, Bruno and Martinelli not destroying those three 6,5s. It’s annoying, but that is a lot of work for Kane over Jackson/Hojlund. Unless you are cavalier with your captaincy and really risk it, I think you would be doing well just to make up the difference.
Yeah prefer #1 as well. Haven't been feeling the Mbuemo love in at all during pre season.
As people have said draft 1 looks better on paper. But sometimes when you want to win you got to go differential to see if the risk pays offs. The only issue IF Kane ends up leaving you have to make at least two transfers. Maybe use Salah instead?
Yeah this is the big thing. If Kane comes out before the deadline and says he's staying at Spurs then I will happily switch back to that draft. Just think they would be insane to let him leave on a free with money on the table and I can see it dragging until the deadline with all kinds of twists and turns.

I agree. I hope any goals Kane gets, I catch some points from Maddison then expect Bruno/Martinelli to smash those 6.5 mids.
Mbuemo is one of the reasons I don't like the Kane draft. He will be average, like a better Neto. Could always have gone Diaby but still think draft 1 is better and more flexible.
I've seen Salah a fair bit this pre-season, he's playing super wide. Liverpool will share the attacking points and Salah has become an assist king, I want goals for £12.5m.

Alright, new Kane draft. Flekken's going to be Brentford's number 1 this season and I really want to keep hold of Maddison. Otherwise there's not much creative happening, but as someone else said, given everyone's got Haaland you need someone else scoring goals.
