Yeah I sold him. Can't have 12.5m being clogged up by someone who's only been as good as others who costs 5m less. It's been a huge relief tbh. Finally managed to fix some deficiencies in my squad.

On that note, I have a feeling we should be buying Almiron soon. 3 goals in 3 matches, maybe he'll do a repeat of last year
 
Any good punts for defenders at 4.4 or below for the next 2-4 gameweeks? (not this one).

Keeping an eye on Lascelles if Botman is out again (3.9), already got Lamptey and Taylor + Tarkowski.
 
Saka, Estu and Diaby flagged. If Son or Maddison also get flagged, I can just give up.

And Trippier is not on the best team, so that post can go firmly in the 'tried to be a Sun headline' bin.

Arteta will break him. I remember this situation happening last season as well. Say he's injured for a month but will be in the starting after 1 week. Can't help but think he's playing him through injuries sometimes.

I know. Think that's unlikely though in all honesty. Son trained today for example. Bigger worry especially for the Spurs two is that they'll almost certainly come off early if starting so not sure I want to cap either of them, even against Luton.
 
Botman was a horrible transfer. At 75% took the risk, obvs misses out and -2 Estu comes in.
With Gusto still suspended and Botman out it means i need to field Luton in my back 3.

Or change the plan to bring Son in and captain him.

Then probably a wildcard over the international break. Although that's annoying as United have Sheff Utd,which would have been the last hurrah of Bruno and Rashy.
 
I got Guehi in for Chilwell and technically can go:

Onana
Guehi Beyer Udogie
Saka Bruno Mitoma Son Maddison
Haaland Watkins

With crooks Botman and Estu + Mubama on bench, so essentially no bench. I will wait on Saka news and if he's fit to play I'll just leave it as it is, and if he isn't I'll transfer Estu out for a Villa defender taking a hit.

I wouldn't want Saliba on a wildcard. Get a Newcastle defender. I'd rather have Porro or Udogie than Romero. I wouldn't double up on Fulham defence. I wouldn't want Mbeumo or Foden. I'd want a Villa attacker. I'd want one of JWP or Bowen. I'd want a Liverpool attacker as well.

On WC. One annoying thing is that I wildcarded last Saturday night after a crap week and my team basically became the template, I suppose everyone has the same idea with form and fixtures.
Current team also has Diaby in it but its looking like he's out and thats not a good move getting him in.

Hinges on Diaby news.

Alvarez is solid too, even City have tough fixtures hes getting points.
Liverpool/Nunez have good fixtures coming. But Nunez is playing for Uruguay v Brazil on 18th October at 1am GMT. So might not even play v Everton that Saturday in the early kickoff.
Nunez could also be Awoniyi. Forest have Palace then Luton next.

Yeah out for a month. I still have my wildcard but I was intending to keep it for a long time, also don’t feel like I’m really at a point where I need to use it.

I've changed the team so many times already, can't settle on anything.

Or switch Leno to Turner and upgrade Longstaff for 3-5-2

Does anyone else find it weird shoe-horning Salah and Haaland in the same side?

It's just so much money - Saka and Son are outperforming Salah and both will have good fixtures in the next 10GWs.

Watkins has an amazing run of games, I just cant help but think Salah can be covered with Diaz + then one can justify a more balanced side:



My Current draft has Salah, below but I can't help be tempted from the one above :lol:



Thoughts?

PS. Lascelles is my planned coverage till Botman is back, but I'd be moving him for a playing defender later.

Thoughts? Feel like I need a better starting keeper but just can’t decide on who with the fixtures and don’t fancy Ederson at his price and their run of fixtures. I’m thinking get these guys in for the current run of fixtures and then switch back to having Saka in a few weeks when the fixtures switch up.I’m not crazy about Alvarez like some but feel he’s the best option. I took out Saka and Archer to get in Gordon and Alvarez which imo is a better combination for the next few games once Gordon returns from suspension after this game.

If he's done any damage to his hamstring he won't be starting. Possible he starts and has to come off.
 
Son cappers are mad.

VERY good chance he doesn’t even start, and guaranteed he’s hooked early.

If Spurs score 2 early goals and Son isn’t involved, Luton will try and shut up shop and Ange will hook Son ASAP and try and suggest injury in order to keep him from International Break.

Very risky captain choice imo. Trap material really.
