Fantasy Premier League 22/23

The 5 subs is big. Means your bench will rotate in far less.
With this is mind, possibly should just have one actual sub and the other as cheapest filler as possible?
Only issue there is that congested fixture list.

I still think you want 3 decent options on the bench. There will definitely be games where players are left out completely and good/bad fixtures will run tight together.

I think having two you actually would use from the bench would help cover more decent fixtures and help avoid hits….something I am terrible at every year.

I think a 4.5 shit playing player make less sense now, but good bench players can be very important to have.

We need gems for that though. Gordon, Undav, Neto, Podence the potential gems I seen so far with good fixtures.
Elanga could be a gem I hope.

Haven't tuned in to the general discussion yet so it might be widely noted but one thing that occurs to me is that this makes a 4.5m forward set-up more attractive, which I tend to like anyway.

Is this game still not up!?

4 1/2 weeks before the first game has to be the latest ever doesn't it?

I wouldn't be too worried..if I didn't have to coax 90 people into the league with painstaking money collection and reminding them to actually enter their team

There's less chance of them being subbed on in your team now though, because there's more chance of the original choice getting a 1.

Well most of the times the guys I pick start since I usually go for nailed picks and the times they do not start is injury, suspension, illness etc. The exception is City picks and I might avoid them if it gets too bad with one pointers, but it was the same with 3 subs.

As I say the players I normally pick are quite nailed.

Kulusevski, Saka, Bowen always started for me except when Kulu was ill and I benched him etc. Salah, Kane, Son, Bruno, Vardy did as well. Ronaldo did not in a double due to injury. Even rotation risk Jota pretty much started every game when I had him due to Firmino being out.

There was only one player that always come on for 1 pointers to block bench and that guy is Mahrez who fecked me 3/4 times. Foden fecked me as well. I got lucky with KDB in round 35 that he did not came on so I got vice captain that was Kane.

The players I see could get worse with that system are Foden, Haaland, KDB and Mahrez with Pep Roulette. Conte might start rotating as well due to being in Europe, but I still expect Kane and Sons minutes to not be effected by 5 sub rule. Mount and Chelsea picks might rotate. These are guys that might get worse with time.

In fantasy CL with 5 subs rule though it was Reece James that often came on for 1 point together with Chelsea attackers.

My team name of Hwang King for rejected though

Some definite value in the market this year, particularly amongst defenders. Lots of 4.5 options. I'm going to keep a close eye on how Sancho starts as he could be great value. Given pool's start ill be going with Salah ahead of son but will reassess later. Think I'll start with haaland too.

I vowed i wouldn't do it again but seeing this in feeling the pull...

Can prices change before the season starts? Any benefit to doing it now as opposed to leaving last minute?

Thinking of going with Kane over Haaland myself. No rotation risk and Kane got 190 points in a season where he was crap for the first half.

Kinda feel spurs could be a good one this season.

On the other hand really not sure about any Chelsea players especially defenders.

Keeper is actually the toughest spot. Most going with Raya or Sanchez but have little trust in either to keep CS.

Got in, set an auto generate team and a new league, now the link won't let me back in.
How odd

Wow how hard this was.

I want Salah, Haaland, Cancelo, TAA/Robbo, Chilwell/James, but there is no money left then.

Pre seaso will change my team, but not sure big at the back is worth it when building a squad. The cheap midfielders are much worse than 5 defenders.

I might just have Elanga in my squad for fun and hope he plays a lot.

Looks like it's still the old kits. Thought they usually use the new kits and then placeholders for those that hadn't released theirs.

Perisics ownership is going to be off the scales bonkers.

I think I have a good idea what I want if Undav is nailed, but if not I might need Mitrovic for 6.5 which is too much. I get 0.5 over so what do you think is best? Do Sanchez to Ramsdale or Mendy or Robertson to TAA?
