It's not really something I'm interested in discussing which is why I've the gambling thread on ignore.
I am getting too anxious to go without Salah. My team so far was
Mendy
Cancelo TAA Robertson White Dalot
Diaz Mount Saka Sancho Bailey
Haaland Jesus Archer
But I have now swapped Cancelo, Diaz and Mount for Walker, Salah and Neto while also downgrading Bailey to Andreas. So essentially:

TAA Robertson Walker Dalot White
Salah Saka Sancho Neto Andreas
Haaland Jesus Archer
Going without Salah is just going to be too stressful initially. I am inclined to try that at some point but not now.

Sancho or Saka is a tough one. Leaning towards Saka currently, given he's on pens.
Ok, but even if you think the bookies are mostly wrong or it is not relevant to who you pick you can at least argue for those players that might be underrated/overrated.
Like for goals odds the fullbacks are not as relevant as they rely on clean sheets and assists, but for attackers it is the most important thing how likely someone is to score. Yes some players are better for assists as well though, but most attackers do tend to score more goals than assists.
It’s not so straight forward when you have so much of your teams value up front. Personally I'd do something like Odegaard, Darwin and Baily/Rice instead maybe, if you want to play 3-4-3 with three good strikers.
Odegaard looks great and also made captain so will play every minute more or less. Darwin will outscore Martial I’m afraid.
Another option in the same price class could be:
Rashford/Grealish
Mitrovic
Foden/Kulu/Saka/Mount/Diaz/Maddison etc
On a side note, maybe your team has a few too many United or ex-utd players? Can’t see all of them hit the ground running mate.
Also, if you drop Martial for a cheap striker you have a few million to use in midfield/defence. Are you sure Dalot, Zinchenko and Williams will start?

Ok I thought it was relevant to fantasy football as you bet on players to score goals in this game. I was not thinking money just how you rate each players chances to score and quantify it rather than just saying I go for player x cause I like him or have a feeling.
Brentford are going after Damsgaard. He is an intriguing option if he signs.

Of those defenders I think they will all start and Neco Williams and Dalot are great value in my opinion. Had Reece James before but talk of him at RCB put me off.

Swap Odegaard and Robertson for Martinelli and TAA, I would downgrade your bench that gives you 2m so you can go Jansson and Doherty to James and Perisic.

Not sure if Sancho is even fit but even if he was, our fixtures aren't that great. Our assets could likely be the best value for money picks over the season but probably not right away.
People got excited with us starting at home vs Brighton - a team that is cnuts of the highest order and sucks the goalscoring life out of every single match. Potter will swarm the midfield with 4-5 guys from south america with Scottish last names and no one will have a clue what the feck is going on for 90 minutes.
Someone talk me out of a kane, haaland, Jesus front 3 ...!! The midfield 3 is weak but salah can carry them!
Midfield is fine, it's the compromise in defense that can kill you with big at the back being a thing this season. If the likes of Cancelo or James bang a couple of times it's game over with that ownership. And they will keep getting good points in general anyway.
By the way I think all our teams would be around 97-98% on that FF hub tool.

True, but have trent and James too. The only thing that's putting me off is, as you say, the ownership of big at the back and most filling their defence with 4 or 5 of the big boys. Don't really want to pick a team based on everyone else this year, though!

Is it just me or most of the teams I’m seeing are with weak bench. With the number of games happening with now and the WC and with 5 sub rule, will we see a lot of rotations by the managers? Who I’ll mean we definitely need a working bench who can at least give you 2 points
Ramsdale and tripps vs Sanchez and perisic? Was thinking of taking the first week or two to see how perisic goes but if he starts returning early I'll need a -4 to get him in before he's out of sight, price wise...
It depends what you mean by a weak bench? Most teams will have Williams in defence at 4.0 and Andreas in midfield at 4.5, and both of them look like they will be starters.

Haalands ownership has dropped from 60% roughly to 49% after Community shield.
Nunez has gone up a lot. Lots doing Haaland to Nunez based on who scored in that game even if what I did take was Haaland playing a full game and Nunez did not.
Interestingly in a different fantasy game I did check Haaland is more popular than Salah, but that is due to Salah being listed as forward and thus earning less points per goal.

Hub projects Nunez to outscore mr 70% ownership in GW1.
I would not dare to go for Nunez right now. He is not certain to play I think.
We have perfectly good picks in the other 4 Liverpool players we want that we know starts and apart from Salah are cheaper.
I think going Nunez over Salah can work and go Son and Haaland as premiums, but if Nunez do not start you will feel real bad.
I think klopp will start Nunez against Fulham as he will see it as a perfect game for Nunez to ease into the PL and hopefull gain more confidence coming off his first goal for the team. Firmino just didn’t add anything to their attack. Who knows really but I think it’s worth a gamble. Even if he plays only 30 min I would bet on him to get a goal before haaland does against WH
Really the bookies see Haaland as the most likely player to score this round as I did write before, but it is possible they overrate them. Nunez in 30 mins surely not better than 75 min Haaland.
I remember last time I did bet against Haaland for fantasy CL by not picking him. I had a defender against his Dortmund in CL too. I think they scored 3 goals and Haaland had 2 goals and 1 assist or something like that.
Anyway regarding Nunez he is a bit like Lukaku. A big bully up front that can be really good in spells, but Klopp may not rate his overall game over Firminos. With Pep roulette noone is safe, but I have a perfectly good Robertson that averaged over 6 points per game last season that I could easily pick. A starting Nunez may be better in a good spell, but just cause he scored in Community shield is not enough to convince me here. Robertson also played really well and might be the one assisting Nunez again and still outscoring him. The 2 million difference is also helping me improve my side. Thus for me it is Salah vs Nunez and for safety I can't ignore Salah. If Nunez outscores Salah you fly I guess and well Salahs ownership is not that high to be fair so many do pick Nunez and going without Salah.

All my subs are starters except the keeper. I couldn’t find a starting keeper at 4.0. Didn’t go for one of the big strikers, I.e. Haaland or Kane. Wanted Son but would need to drop to a 4 or 4.5 midfielder and switch Mahrez to make it happen. So I’d likely lose Mount for Pereira.
What's with all the Martinelli love? Not that I have any clue how the teams are doing.
