The team 83rd in my league had the highest score last week!
He had captain and vice captain not playing, and hasn't made a transfer all year for frigger's sake :lol:
 
My work leader has this team and a 42 point lead

He surely takes a -4 to bring in Isak and maybe Mac for max Brighton and Newcy?

The players i have that he doesn't are

Shaw, TAA, Mahrez (assuming he does the 2 transfers above).

Do i need to do something more risky to be a differential, or see if those 3 make me any ground up? (I have 2-5 point leads over 3rd to 6th so that might be the real battle!)

Shaw is benched as it stands as I'd play all my doublers.

You could bring in Wilson instead of Isak then, and captain him. Going to be tough to catch up 42 points now though.

I don't think he even needs a hit. He'll just bring in Isak/Wison for Watkins/Toney surely? Toney scores this week anyway so if he's been paying attention he keeps him.
 
Estupid/Greenwood --> Fodder/Enciso OR KDB/Greenwood --> Mahrez/Alvarez?

Benching Rashford in first one, Estupid in second, and maybe Rashford as well if I play Alvarez.
 
Having the Haaland vs Wilson captain problem. Wilson will no doubt not complete 180 mins and really cant see Haaland being rested?

Wilson or Isak they’ve got 2 games plus with Pep there’s no guarantee Haaland even starts this with Madrid in mind. Although he’s more than capable of bagging a few off the bench. It’s one I’m debating as well but think I’ll take the chance on Isak.

Nah because KDB has as much, if not more, chance to get rested than Grealish. Mahrez should play.

He'd be leaving himself short of a 3rd Brighton mid. And also has Chilwell doubtful. So surely wants to close the door on any doubler?

Isak to Wilson would mean that then I don't bring in Mac who is top of the bring in list.
Although I could play Shaw. But it seems safer to do March to Mac, and at least cover the doubler.

Renegade decision would be to field Martial, but probably just too risky.

Yep, I suppose I've had enough of these battles over the years, both leading and chasing.
When leading have been caught by not being aggressive enough with the covering. So i'd probably want to shut the door on Mac, who has scored 2 in 2 , is probably back to attacking mid looking at the scout lineup, takes pens, and Brighton are super attacking. (when not over celebrating victories against us and being in a state v Everton!)

Yeah it's a decent option if we are too worried about KDB. Both my transfers are completely spare, my team is totally set as it is. But doing 2 FT to get Enciso sounds fun but probably saving one transfer and going into the double with 2 and maybe getting Alvarez then or something could be more useful.
 
Made my transfers and ended up with this:

Kepa - Forster
Botman - Trips - Shaw - Estupinan - TAA
Mitoma - MacAllister - Fernandes - Salah - Rashford
Isak - Haaland - Jesus

March getting injured really forced my hand (and all the price rises/falls) but I think this team can do the business until the end of the season. I think my final FTs may just be: Salah to KdB and back to Salah if the prices work out. Boring end to the season, I suppose Jesus is my "differential" although I really just went early and the herd will probably follow. Any thoughts?
 
Do we think Liverpool will start Jota, Diaz, Salah?

I really don’t want to bench Gakpo against Leicester if he is to start

Play Shaw and Martial and give yourself the transfer for 37. You may need to remove Rashford and will want the flexibility with better teams doubling.

Yeah, I have to now with Rashford news. Having both him and Mahrez start is a dodgy one though. I don’t think I can take a -4 though at this stage, especially when they could both start and score.
