Fantasy Premier League 22/23

Last call I have to make is Jota/Gakpo VS Bowen. Clear upside and downside for every pick. Very hard to call who will start upfront for Liverpool with Diaz And Darwin aiming for a spot.

I'm just gonna goalieless I think.... or at least I am for now. Alisson almost certainly ain't getting much bonus/saves, so it's a -4 for a potential 2pts barring rare score.
I did the same thing but I had Kepa and Steele so it's also with an eye towards the future, + Liverpool has a DGW in 34.

Not sure who to captain this GW. Went for Martinelli for now but I hate having my captain in the first game of the week.

Wolves got 2 CS in row too! Tough choice.

I'm completely not sold on Solanke and Bournemouth attack but I underestimated them many times. Would go Eze/Olise

Both aren't exactly reliable. But either could monster it on their day.

Current FH Team:

————Johnstone————
TAA——Moreno——-Guehi
——-Salah (c) —Saka—Eze--Martinelli
—-Jesus—-Watkins——Jota

Avoided Newcastle defence, think Spurs will score.
Not sure about Moreno, Brentford can find the net but not sure who else, Leicester defender…
Triple Palace, Everton are useless. Onana and DCL prob still out.
Gone Jota over Gakpo. Could be either really but Eze up against Everton.
Could also go for Isak or Toney but difficult to leave Watkins out, he can’t stop scoring.

Interesting. An Everton fan tripling up on Palace. You have my attention...

If the all start I think it's fair to assume that Jesus, Gakpo and Jota will all only get 60-70 mins with Trossard, Nketiah, Darwin and Diaz all needing minutes. Is that enough to bring home a haul?

I think there could be a haul, but I think 1 pointer for Gakpo or Jota is much more likely than 10 plus points.

By bookies 2-0 is most likely result then 3-0.2-1, 3-1, 1-0 and 1-1 also likely.

I probably would rather own Robbo long term than Gakpo or Jota, but you could get a huge haul I guess. Robbo got 0 goals this season.

Doucoure still suspended for Everton too.

The pleasure at seeing the panic of not being on a free hit, I will continue to enjoy…..until I see the massive hauls you all get!

Had a great GW31 with 90 points and got back up to top 30k
Freehitting this week and have landed on this for:

Johnstone (Iversen)
TAA, Moreno, Trippier (Guehi, Ream)
Salah, Martinelli, Saka, Gakpo (Eze)
Kane, Jesus, Watkins

Some quick thoughts before the deadline?

Ok. last knockings gang.
A free hit gives you licence to go for the big ceilings doesn't it.

Johnstone
Trippier Moreno TAA
Salah (c) Eze Martinelli Saka
Jota Watkins Jesus

Iversen, Andreas, Guehi, Botman (plus 4million so might embiggen some of that lot a bit)

What do we think. Captures my 3 Arsenal / 3 Liverpool aim, but also allows squeezing Eze in, who not only is he ex Wycombe, but is in monster haul form.

3 defenders who can haul at the back, keeper playing a crap team.

Good to go?

Slight Jesus not starting risk, but "managing his minutes" looks to already be happing with 65-70s, so the same again makes sense?

Think that's basically the scout picks with Kane instead of Solanke.

Go for this. So many I have seen have Eze as first sub and Everton were awful against Fulham. I think he could cause chaos there.

Should I take out Mee for another -4 for Gabriel?

I think I will. I am feeling a headed goal and a guaranteed 1 pointer for Mee.

Yep it seems pointless having an Eze on the bench. If he hauls you'd be fuming you'd bothered bringing him in for that.

Thought I almost did the same with Olise, but it'd be pointless, as it's unlikely any of my 11 don't play at all.

As that's not to get a full 11 that seems a high risk?
Mee could easily get 2, so Gabriel needs to clean sheet just for parity? Assuming it's not a tight game and he won't bonus.

Solanke for sure. I usually want players with big goal threat.

Eze main strenght is bonus and clean this week.

Solanke has scored 2 goals since game week 15 (we're in week 32 now)
Eze has scored 3 goals in the last TWO games.

Just for some balance here.

Yeah, defender hits are pretty pointless, but I think I am going to roll the dice and hope for at least parity.

Gabriel gets quite a lot of headed chances and Southampton concede a lot of them. Have a final score visual in my head with a Gabriel goal (3-0)

That, and I am just sick of looking at Ben Mee

Gabriel is a good choice for an Arsenal defender, although White has had a decent amount of attacking points recently.
But I'm going 3 attackers, aim for the stars!

ps @Maluco worth considering that Xhaka is apparently out, so not sure if that gives Southampton a slightly higher goal threat.

I've meddled between the two and Gahkpo, but have stuck with Eze and Jota now as the solution. Hope it pays off!
I'm on Solanke and Gakpo for now. Feeling a bit better with Solanke having a talisman role for them but it's still Bournemouth attack so not hoping for much.

feck Zincheko back and I removed him in draft one hour ago.

Long term it is fine though, but yeah annoying.

He as listed as out on many websites.

As a say Solanke is a goal scorer and starting to find form. Eze is central mid.

I would 100% much rather have Solanke.

Unless you think Roy has turned them into the best side in the league.

Might lose that -4 then  I couldn’t go 3 attackers because I have three 34 doublers on the bench I want to keep. Otherwise Saka would have been my pick.

As it stands, am a -8 away from all doublers in 34 and didn’t want to take myself further away from that.

Gabs is more of just a silly punt. Gakpo and Eze I need to return!

West Ham just drew with the leaders and got a big win in Europe though. They have much better players than Bournemouth.

Eze is playing an abject Everton at home, coming off the back of two monster performances.

If Isak starts against that Tottenham team though, it could be a hat trick and we all get done!
