White v Gabriel?

My tribal has white so I can block him but Soton are suspect to headers...

Yep. The last time he scored with a header and hauled I benched him so sods law he's going to do the same if I remove him from my FH team.

Schwein pick my team for me please. It's stressing em out.

I'm gonna give you the honour of picking between White and Gabriel for me...

Your team looks good but I'm not sold on Robertson. Prefer VVD as he has attacking threat too but less likely to be rotated. Robertson unlikely to be rotated too but Tsimikas can pay. Also, Olise is good but Eze better goal threat?

I'm not on that any more. On this

Johnstone (Leno)
TAA Gabriel Trippier (Schar) (Castagne)
Saka Martinelli Salah Bowen Olise
Watkins Jota (Toney)

Apparently Olise has the better overall XGI as he's in the front 3 whereas Eze is playing at #8. Everton are also stronger in the middle than they are out wide. Think it's 50/50 tbh.

You've never owned Gabriel so you don't have to suffer the heartbreak I would. Gabriel has the higher ceiling though. White has no double digit hauls.

I had Gabriel for a period. Did nothing. Removed him. Scored header  but I might go with him.

Toney on your bench will 100% punish you. But put him in your team and he will get sent off.

Think Jota will make or break your week.

Absolutely. Either a haul or a 1 pointer with him I reckon but got to have some kind of punt on a FH surely? Can't be many better ones than a Liverpool attacker at home surely.

Please help me pick one:

Johnstone
TAA, Gabriel, Trippier
Salah, Martinelli, Saka, Gakpo
Kane
, Watking, Toney

Or

Johnstone
TAA, VVD, Trippier
Salah, Martinelli, Saka, Bowen
Jesus
, Watking, Toney

Don't like Kane and Trippier think you need to back one or the other, so team 2

Currently have no players on the bench. Should I take a hit to take out Zincheko (for White) or just hope Zincheko gets some minutes.

Current team:

Navas
Trippier, Henry, Zinchenko, TAA
Olise, Martinelli, Maddison, Saka
Watkins (c), Kane

If I had balls I'd love to mix it up and go with a front 7 of

Salah Martinelli Maddison Willian Bowen
Watkins Solanke

If only because you'd have an interest in every game (Johnstone in goal)

Trouble is you're buying a lottery ticket with your Liverpool and Arsenal players as it is. The less tickets you buy the less chance to win.

Mate. Go for a walk

I've locked my team.

Gabriel over White was the final decision and went with the former because the risk v reward is worth it. I'm done for the day. Gonna go and buy Ultra Street Fighter 2 and Advance Wars... That'll keep me off FPL until deadline

I only have 8 players playing. Would you guys free hit?

Planning to wildcard for gameweek 33 so I can use a chip for gameweek 34.

I'm thinking of swapping Kane to Jesus but then I have to get rid of White...

I have Trippier and triple Liverpool and Arsenal already... Are there any other defenders worth getting???

I love how certain you are early doors, then change

To maximise a ceiling, we have to be looking at Martinelli, Saka, Jesus really.
And Liverpool, TAA, Gahkpo, Salah.

Keep Trippier and Watkins.

Then it comes down to do we go for a 5th mid like Eze, or stick with a front 3. And if we stick with a front 3, do we have Kane or Watkins in there or risk a Bournemouth striker.

Eze home to Everton under a new manager and hauling suddenly looks interesting.

Fair. I deserve a treat actually. Just got a promotion at work

Sticking it through as this for now

Johnstone Iversen
TAA Trippier White
Salah (c) Gahkpo Martinelli Saka
Kane Watkins Solanke

Iversen, Andreas, Moreno, Botman.

Open to persuasion on Jesus, Eze or anything else.

Is it mental to field 9 players (for a -4) and hold FH until GW34? I don't have Salah.

Team would be

Raya
Trippier - White - Henry
Saka - Martinelli - Gakpo
Waktins - Kane

(Kepa, Chilwell, Shaw, Rashford, Mitoma, Haaland)

The potential upside of having a team full of doublers is really hard to resist. Doing so would allow me to have 3 players x United, City, and Liverpool, and 2 x from Brighton.

On the other hand, I've currently got Shaw, Rashford, Mitoma, Grealish and Haaland. 2 FT until 34 so if took a -4 on top I could get to 8 doublers while maximising returns from this week. But I'm not sure I'd be able to get Trent, Salah, a City defender in etc. Any thoughts? Tough cnut this one.

Haaland to which forward as a punt. I think Solanke since long term I struggle with budget.

Just sucks I went Havertz over him in the past.

For the money I get TAA.

11 then.

Raya
Moreno TAA Trippier Gabriel
Saka Martinelli Salah
Toney Watkins Solanke.

I think it can match most free hit teams. I think main loss is probably not owning Jesus and a third Liverpool player.

Jesus scary tonight everyone on free hit will have him. The best for me is a 0-0 or 1-0 my guys scoring. If Arsenal score 3 or more I can't see Jesus blank if he plays over 60.

Keeping Gabriel this long have sucked, but can he finally score when in my team?

What was that game recently we thought Arsenal were going to go snooker loopy...and didn't?
Could that happen again?

Not sure but yeah it's always a risk. Saints will undoubtedly sit back and get numbers behind the ball.

Firmino ruled out this weekend. Not sure that clears anything up as to who the front 3 will be though as he was never likely to start anyway. I also think Diaz is gonna be coming on from the bench so 3 from Darwin, Jota, Gakpo, Salah again. Trouble is Darwin, Jota and Gakpo can all play both positions. Is a 3rd Liverpool attacker too risky?

Hmm Ward is an issue and Bueno. Not sure why you kept those, but it seems you have 3 premiums and not enough cash to upgrade them in the past.

I would get Jesus and TAA then get the keeper you like the most for another hit. It would be annoying if Ward starts though.

Ward and Bueno have been kept because I've not actually had a reason to drop them inside of forcing it with a hit mostly. I would of only been taking the hit I would taking this week earlier realistically...

I'm just gonna goalieless I think.... or at least I am for now. Alisson almost certainly ain't getting much bonus/saves, so it's a -4 for a potential 2pts barring rare score.

I'm struggling to set up the defence on the free hit. After Liverpool and Arsenal, it's Newcastle with the best chance of CS this weekend according to bookies, but I'm not sure if I really fancy them. Palace?

If the all start I think it's fair to assume that Jesus, Gakpo and Jota will all only get 60-70 mins with Trossard, Nketiah, Darwin and Diaz all needing minutes. Is that enough to bring home a haul?

My Pool (really Reading) fan pal, when I asked him Jota or Gahkpo, said Nunez. But surely Nunez is the least likely to start and they most likely go with the team that just won 6-1!?

Moreno at Villa looks an interesting choice. Though I might be basing that on him monstering it last week.

One formation question then...

3-5-2 with Eze

Or

3-4-3 with Solanke?

(Kane & Watkins the main 2 at the moment)

Under normal circumstances yes but what do they have left to play for? He scored when he came on and Klopp might think why not start him at home to Forest where he should be able to feast. I dunno just feel that 3rd Liverpool spot is a lottery admittedly with a high upside but you could pick someone who you know will get 80-90 mins to score/assist instead.

Palace and Villa maybe. There is a chance for Fulham too I guess.
I am not convinced of Newcastle getting a CS.

I'm completely not sold on Solanke and Bournemouth attack but I underestimated them many times. Would go Eze/Olise
