Fantasy Premier League 22/23

I only have 9 outfield players for next week and have two Liverpool players as it stands (Salah and TAA)

Who would be the third Liverpool player folks would bring in ahead of the double and to play in 32?

Is Gakpo likely to start both games with Diaz back in training?

Probably not. It's why I'd rather go Trent + Robertson + Salah on my 32 Free Hit.

@CassiusClaymore @Dirty Schwein @Sandikan @paulscholes18 Chilwell to Trent this week or wait till 33? I feel since I am gonna do that transfer anyway before 34 might as well do it now but can delay by one week max. Thoughts?

If you can do it free, probably worth doing now, as Chelsea don't have a game next week.

For full disclosure, I have him starting, but after last week's sub appearance and a red at 59mins midweek, it's anyone's guess if he'll actually start anyway!

I'll FH week 32, and then wildcard week 34 to fill my Liverpool boots.

I think I would do it. I feel TAA will do well. I likely getting him next week.

Chelsea just do not convince me and Chilwell is not really performing at his peak level. He still the most attacking defender with James in the game though.

Take out Bruno and leave Rashford…?
Yeah because ETH said Rashy can potentially be back by next Seville game. Which means he should definitely be back by GW34 and that would save me having to bring him back into my team.

I wanted to keep Bruno but £9m+ on a defensive mid with pens is not worth it. Thought he would move further forward with Casemiro back but it seems like Sabitizer will be the AMF.

This would also allow me to upgrade Martinelli to Salah and also keep Haaland & Kane from GW34 onwards.

So might as well cut my losses now and go with City's flavour of the month. (Watch Grealish get benched now).

Leeds goal threat at home is fairly average, 9th overall. They're only missing 3 players. It's possible Leeds could ruin a Liverpool clean sheet.

I'm not the type of manager that waits on purchases that I feel could increase in price due to popularity. TAA costing 7.3 is a lot, given his inconsistent form this season. I can't imagine FPL would price him higher than where he's at now. His ownership is currently at 18.2%. If his ownership jumps to 50% or more, FPL could increase his cost. I'd pull the trigger, now, rather than wait, but that's just me. The same goes for Salah, I made my transfers to bring in Salah while they were playing, last Sunday.
I decided last weekend to follow the lead of you and Schwein by abandoning the differential hunt and going with as many template/top performers. I've now got what I'd consider 10 of 11 premium players on the pitch. With my team value at 103.5, I couldn't afford to make any mistakes in the final stretch of matches.

Viva the renaissance of us casual players

Darwin high risk pick, Van Dijk for safety

Thanks lads! Yeah, a defender is probably safer, but double Liverpool defence doesn’t fill me with massive confidence either. Tsimikas/Gomez could make surprise appearances too I suppose.

It needs to be a Liverpool player too because I don’t fancy West Ham or Fulham doubles at all.

Choose two out of:

Shaw Chilwell Zinchenko...

Who would you play?
Currently on Chilwell and Shaw

I have Mitoma - Grealish - Saka - Martinelli in midfield with Watkins - Kane - Haaland in attack.
I have march on bench - I feel he would have good returns against Chelsea. Should I continue to bench or get his in starting XI, but whom to remove?

I mean on paper, you keep it as it is or swap out for Mitoma. It’s a risk taking out anyone else. If you really think he’ll get points vs Chelsea then the other option is taking out Watkins against Newcastle’s strong defence.

Big risk that. As a strategy I’m trying to keep my team as strong as my ML rival who is 98 points behind. He has Watkins, Kane and Haaland just like me but in midfield he has Mads, Martinelli, Rashford, Mitoma and Ramsey. Surely he does some changes to amend Mads and Rashford.
Thanks for the tip though

Thought about getting a Villa player - Mings in defence, Ramsey in midfield or Watkins for Toney in attack but went for neither. Damn
