Fantasy Premier League 22/23

Except Kdb, i don't see reliable option instead of Bruno. I have two from Arsenal, Mitoma and Rashy.
City players are roulette, Liverpool is in mess, Spurs are shit, Maddison is a troll.

Bench boost has been a massive bust for me. Now need to take out a few ahead of 32. No idea what to do.

Am I really going to hold these Liverpool wasters all the way to 34!??

Was hoping for a brace across the two games from Rashford but given the cyborg was out, my BB was OK with 116

That’s gotta be up there for one of my biggest scores ever. Should be over 160. Didn’t see that coming when Haaland was announced as out of the squad in the first game of the week.

Glad to have De Gea or the Shaw thing would really have been annoying.

But real life win and Rashy captain goal helps no end.
Just a shame if Newcastle had to win so comfortably that they had to concede a goal!

136 (-4) all out, which is NOT a humble brag compared to some of you :) Now I have to deal with an injured Shaw too :)

Ended on 142 which is great but could have been so much more looking back at Bruno and Shaw. fecking useless planks.

Yeah this.

Really, really let down with Bruno. Think I’ll boot him for Saka.
Well gotta think long term. Everton at home should in theory be easier than Liverpool away. Then we got Forrest which again in theory be easier than Hammers. Then you bring Saka in on FH32. I guess the following week, Saka better option than Bruno but then we get another DGW.

Bruno is the better long term hold.

He might be, and we have juicy DGW34 so he'll again be a very popular pick then, love him for being 100% nailed and on pens & other set pieces, but played rather deep today and ETH seemed happy with this role. I'm not sold on him at the moment.

When is Casemiro back?

All true… BUT one side scores goals for fun and is giddily chasing a PL title with no other commitments and the other is stuttering, exhausted and fighting for Top 4 as well as FA Cup and Europa…

Also Everton under Dyche will literally sit there and be happy with a shit game and a draw.

Liverpool will have to come out and play, which suits Saka.

Ended up with 128 due to my miscalculation of going Maddison over Mitoma for captaincy. Still decent week as continue to hold a healthy lead in my mini league. Did a quick early transfer to bring in KDB for Maddison. Going without Haaland as I think his minutes might be managed with CL games coming in

147(-8) in the end.
Lovely score but you can't help being slightly greedy wondering about Shaw and the double Newcastle last night!

However, up to 8th in the work league but only 3 points off 5th. Top 8 get money.

Although as I'm league treasurer it always feels more a case of how little can I pay out rather than how much can I win as I have the league pot to hand already!

138 Fernandes not returning was the disappointment and Newcastle conceding too.

Happy enough now just need to decided on what to do about Haaland. Am I mad to leave it a week?

Tempted to bring in Akanji with Shaw being out but not sure I can trust Pep the weekend before a CL game.

Also don't trust buying Haaland back this gw.

I wouldn't say mad. It's a tricky one for sure. Does feel like a game where he either starts and comes off after 60 or they play the same team as last week which was good enough to trash Liverpool without him.

I'll wait for the pressers tomorrow to see what the situation is with him, Shaw and Maddison before making a decision.

Toney > Haaland
Shaw > Stones/Ake
Maddison > Grealish/Mahrez

all on the plate for me.

I rage transferred Maddison out for grealish already. I'm top of my most important mini league but am rapidly being caught. Feels like I've made nothing but bad calls these last weeks (keeping haaland and not getting Watkins, bringing Bruno in etc) while she's made nothing but good ones. It's infuriating.
