I guess you're right if the leak comes from the club itself, but I'm assuming most leaks come through the TV companies and that's why they're only known shortly before KO. That was certainly the case with a regular leak last season.
Feels like there are going to be some high ranking teams with Haaland, Foden, Mitrovic and Wilson who go out in the first round of the cup!

I managed to get on the app at 1.26 and changed my captain to Wilson. It looked like it had saved as the page refreshed. Turns out it didn't. It stayed on Haaland.

Yep either way before to mitigate the leaks or at first kick off so everyone has the same advantage. Either or but crashing 20 mins before deadline is nonsense. I often do my stuff that late anyway regardless of team news.

You got lucky then. Most of my league had Halaand as captian and Mitro in their team, I brought in Wilson (who’s supposedly a doubt) and Solanke on the bench, so heres hoping Halaand gets on for 10 mins at the end and does fk all
