Game is no where near as fun as it used to be.
The app didn't work for me.
If they're not going to spend some money on improving the servers they should move the deadline even earlier. 2 or 3 hours before the early KO. Or make it KO itself and allow players to have the official early KO line up info and an hour to make their transfers.

Yeah same. App uses APi which is more reliable than the website.
I don't want to start any blasphemous rumours but I think that Pep's got a sick sense of humour and when I die, I expect to find him laughing.
To be fair I’d imagine they must get hits within the tens of thousands, possibly million, all at once when these team news leak. Not many sites would be able to handle that except the big boys like YouTube. It’s basically like a DDOS attack.

I managed to change captains on the app by spamming through Error 502 messages. Zero chance i could've got a transfer through.

The only hope now is the leak was wrong and Håaland plays.
Although I did vc Cancelo a few hours before.

Why’s deadline 1.5 hours beforehand now?
I always set my team to what will be acceptable if i did forget/a crash happens.
So reasonably decent lineup with Dunk 1st sub.
But captaincy on Nunez isn't ideal, even tried to put it to Rashy last doors.
But did try and switch Haaland and Zaha to Alvarez and KDB last min - but never mind.
Nonsense for the serves to break 15mins before isn't it. At least last week we had 3mins of time before it happened.

They should do what most similar games do and have the deadline at kick off. That way everyone knows the opening team sheets.
But that would require them to invest into their site so it doesn't collapse when everyone logs in within the same hour, which they're clearly unwilling to do.

You have the absolute obsessives crawling through leaks, and then you still have the "what time's deadline", "what's a wildcard", "can i use 2 chips together" casuals
They need to sort out this deadline nonsense. Most other fantasy games have a deadline when the first game starts. Just do that for FPL too. Eliminate this idiotic leaks aspect.

It used to be an hour but they added 30mins on to try and stop leaks, which in turn crash the website like today. That's why I was suggesting add more time on, or KO itself so transfers are spread out over an hour so presumably less likely to crash the site.

FPL is growing every year, there's millions more players and they should invest in the website accordingly.

Yeah I have a team setup but couldn't make my planned transfer of Saka or Foden to Rashy.
It's not like the PL are short on money either and I would bet they make money out of fpl somehow.

I’m confused as to how the deadline change stops the leaks. Wouldn’t the leaks just come out sooner instead? As far as I know, the starting lineup is normally known the night before.

How? You've got the best captain choice this week, even if Håaland is out I don't think it's worth transferring him out given his next fixture.
