Fantasy Premier League 22/23

What’s the play? All advice welcomed…

Foden to Saka (cover the Forest game, still have two for City)… Zouma to Dalot/White/Tarkowski… roll… something else?

(just realised needed to bench Bailey for Andreas. Done)

I would roll, wouldn't transfer out Foden and play Andreas over Zouma

I had a thought but with the way my season is going... I might as well keep it to myself

Foden started in the CL game today though. Isn't there a risk he'll be benched again ?
City play first so hopefully team news will leak early, don't think Foden would be dropped for 2 league games in a row though.

Is anyone considering Shaw? Only 4.7, but a potential rotational risk. My defence is currently; Cucurella - Cancelo - Trippier - Guehi - Emerson. Terrible backline. Need Cucurella out for this weekend and considering White, Dalot, and Shaw at the moment. Any ideas?

Tell me, I like odd ideas. If only so I cross it off my list.
I think Foden is better for the next 3 Vs Saka. If you do that move and Saka doesn't do the business against forest... Then he's got Chelsea away.

Swapping Zouma to a better defender feels like the play. But it's boring. You can easily bench Zouma for Andreas and roll the transfer.

That's probably what I would do... So basically swap Foden with Saka and pay Zouma ahead of Andreas

Yeah, other than Pep being a w@nker and minutes, I’m ok with Foden over Saka because of their fixtures.

Zouma to Dalot seems good given our fixtures and form. Think it’s that or roll (then bin Salah and ANOther next week)

2 free transfers… what would you do with this?

Ramsdale
Tripper, Cancelo, Gomez / Botman
Salah, Zaha, Foden, Martinelli
Mitro, Toney, Erling

How much you have the bank?

Would upgrade Gomez/Botman if poss

I've personally binned Zaha for Saka. I know Zaha has an 'easy fixture', but the dude never does it for me.

So the potential of Haaland being injured makes things interesting (even the great Haaland can't beat Ghandi).

I assume City will put him in a bag of rice and reboot him before the weekend but if he is out... Who is the best Captain?

Kane? Saka? Salah?

In other news... Salah has found a new form of trolling and is being considered for the troll club by it's founder Callum Wilson and VP Lucas Digne.

I've gone rogue and captained Saliba.
THAT'S a differential!

Personally, I'd avoid capping a defender. Ignoring the rogue scores (like Cat Kicker getting 15 last game), defenders tend to range from 2 to 8. Non defenders from 2 to (for the top players) double figures.

A non defender can easily get a spawny assist and jump to 6, maybe 7 with a bps.

Yeah but on the other hand, a defender doesn't technically have to do anything to get 6 points. Just be part of a unit that defends well.

A striker/midfielder has to actually assist/score for points and I think the players are all going to be tired due to the current schedule. Possibly resulting in some 0 - 0s.

Also Nottingham Forest give away the second most corners, so could get a cheeky Saliba goal.

How did he look tonight?

1) Who to bench in this? 2 obvious ones in brackets - which other 2?
2) Stick with Nunez and Kane, or get on Jesus?

Ramsdale (Ward)
Cancelo Trippier Dalot Gueuhe (Dunk)
Foden Rashy Martinelli Zaha Andreas
Haaland Kane Nunez

Are most leaving captaincy on Haaland just in case? Or not risking him playing 10 mins?

I'm tempted to have Saka as vc or captain, even though I own Kane.

Salah (Leeds, H) and Reed (Everton, H) out ….for a -4 …. to Saka (Forest, H) and Almiron (Villa, H)?

It’s effectively a short term thing so simply will latter two outscore first two by four plus?
Salah is trolling but always does good against Leeds.

Reed expect 2 pointer.

Saka is good for the next game if Arsenal can get their shit together.

Almoron playing well but Villa have that new manager bound.

I think Saka and Almiron might outscore the others but if you're ever gonna give Salah a final final chance... This is the game.

Ok, next week he’s gone. And one of Bailey/Reed.

As Radiohead once sang… ‘You do it to yourself, you do, and that’s what really hurts…’

Salah is not the player he was, and that team is now set up to ensure NUNEZ hauls, not Salah.

Salah should now be thought of as a similar FPL asset as Rashford or Zaha etc.

Yes, he might score, but it’s MORE LIKELY he will leave you frustrated.

His time as an FPL king is completely and utterly done.
