I guess I would have been better off not using any of my two transfers and just captained Weghorst and hoped for the best.
Of course a simple Kane to Ronaldo that was in my considerations weeks ago would have been ideal. Kane and Sons form made it hard to go without either though.
I wish I had been drunk and searched for Bruno and picked the Newcastle one. I am pretty sure there is someone out there that picked the wrong Bruno and got rewarded.

United now have a double next week then, but a bit of a silly one. Arsenal away and Chelsea at home!
Chelsea of course also have a double, so might be smarter to get one of their big mids in, a Mount or someone.

I like Ronaldo for Arsenal (A). I think it'll end up being a high scoring game (2-2 or something like that)
Yeah, those who got United assets on transfers can keep him. Arsenal look quite shaky at the back, although its the wingers who have a better time vs them but Ronaldo can surely get something there. Issue is both Arsenal and Chelsea can dominate us on the ball so it will come down to getting something on the counter.
Ronaldo with some horrible news surely takes him out of tomorrow as a minimum, maybe the weekend too?

I'm seriously considering using my Free Hit in 34. I'm pretty well set up for the doubles in 36 and 37 as it is and this would allow me to triple up on Chelsea, Liverpool and City whilst they still have reason to put out strong sides.
What's the best Chelsea triple up though? Rudiger and Mount for sure and then one of James, Havertz or Werner maybe (I only own James).
It would probably mean a compromise between picking one of Salah or KDB though but at least I can assess how they look and how many minutes they get this week and make that call.

James Mount Werner. Alonso is good as well.

Rushed the wildcard in a week I had no time and I'm paying the consequences.
Some unlucky things for me, Fraser injured and opting for Mbeumo over Bruno (Newcastle) but caught out by Leicester with Maddison captain and Castagne not featuring in their first game.
Cornet missing a penalty to have 0 points another frustrating thing that happened.

I consider not playing next season. With the world cup in the middle it is not as fun.
I said that this season about Covid this year and still came back. After 2 months in the summer I will miss it for sure.

Was on captain Salah and only moved to Kane because Salah had a game before this. Otherwise this was as nailed as you could get for the armband.

My FH team has done extremely well. The gamble to go without Liverpool players on FH is the worst move I have ever made.
Not the game to take Salah out for it seems.

None of my rivals captained Salah, amazing stuff. 11pts up to 56 before bonuses.
Same, bottled it but again I know if I had captained him he would have been injured vs City and missed this game.
You don't wanna cap him against us anyway out of moral integrity. Take his haul and leave it at that. Seems he's back now, the xg has been brewing. Expect another haul against Everton this weekend.

In a way I’m happy about how awful this week has been for me, at least I will be able to concentrate on other things and leave FPL aside for the last five games.
Well choosing Kane over Salah last minute went well. At least Ronaldo kept my rank ok.
Hopefully it was a 'joke' captaincy and all their VC's were Salah. Like the people who start non-playing players, a bit absurd, but at least that ones nailed on to fix itself.

No I am playing my best. Just I normally play pretty risk averse and go for the player I have most faith in, but it has gone awful this season compared to previous years.
I have had the most popular captain in the top 10k for pretty every week this season including this one since Bruno was most popular just by my own thinking. My biggest punt was KDB one week when Salah was away which worked, but my vice Jota outscored him.
Early season I had Salah captain two times when Ronaldo was more popular as well which failed.
I can say it has not gone well. When Kane is more popular than Son then Son scores more.
When Bruno is more popular than Ronaldo then Ronaldo scores more or the other way around.
When Dennis is the most popular captain he takes a red card.
Weghorst does nothing.
Rudiger plays one game out of two and James outscore him by a lot.
The one time Salah has a relativly low EO vs Leicester he miss a pen.
The two times I have nailed a captain this season with big gains is Salah TC and Bowen captain.
Both those times I had very little doubt about having them as captains though cause they had excellent fixtures.
