Like that. And agree on Kane over salah, as Kane has been smashing the returns, and Salah may possibly be managed a bit having played in the euro and with a big cup game 3 days before.

But then I would like it as I have very similar....and what usually happens is we both have stinkers in this scenario!!

Decent thinking. Similar with @Dirty Schwein and having Martinelli.

I see how many have brought Maddison in though. But they're probably overlooking the euro situation.
And downgrading would allow a firmer 3rd defender as Livra doesn't seem to be nailed either.
 
I think I'm off Salah for captain. It's a risk given he plays fa cup and could get injured. Same goes for madders.

Leaves Saka and Kane. Newcastle defender is tempting but also a bit crazy. Leicester and palace pretty much score in every game.

Honestly feel like Martinelli will be a great captain. If I'm going arsenal probably go at him or it's just Kane then.

Think I'm at least swayed to bring Martinelli in instead of Maddison. Southampton are poor, and you never know v a Chelsea who have had a tough schedule.

Worth double Newcastle defence do you think? Or split the risk and have Schmeichel?

I'll probably have cedric as a 4.2m filler instead of Livra, so the last decision is which doubler I bring into defence for about 5.1m

The only appeal for Martinelli is that Soton play a high line that should suit him. And if laca is out he could start up front. So a decent punt.

If you are one keeper and defender probably best to split the bets between Schmeichel and Schar. People are getting Schmikes long term but I guess he's a good one on FH as well.

For the last defender if you wanna punt KWP is a shout. Gets forward a lot and has good underlying numbers.

Brownhill the lone bench warrior.

GKs are a bit hit and miss. Dubravka is the obvious one but want to go down the double defence route instead, there are goals/assists in that NEW defence.

JWP I had in a DGW last season where he scored a pen in both games, including one at Etihad. So a nostalgic pick. He’s due some set piece goals. Xhaka is due conceding a daft penalty :D

Cancelo is the one player I really want but my TV is awful.

Think you look well set. Watkins to Wood could be a move but that will give you a benching headache. Probably roll the FT and have 2 FT for next week when we are likely gonna load up on Chelsea etc.

Yeah that's in my mind as well. My original plan which I went cold on was to get Sancho in for Kulu and downgrade Watkins to Broja which then left me a spot in midfield for Havertz/Mount/City mid in 34. Rolling might well be the better option though.
 
For all you FHitng, What's the talk with the Leicester boys? Are we going Barnes or Maddison? Or none at all? Also I I'm inclining towards Sancho instead of Bruno, is it totally moronic or is there something there?

In your boat I'd probably take the Bruno and captain option. Feels a fun move as well as a decent punt too.

Watkins to Wood a decent second bet. But a nightmare benching scenario.

Sancho can haul, but Bruno sort of feels a safer choice doesn't he? Although Ronaldo could well he on pens which is slightly worrying.
But Ronaldo could easily blank and then play 60mins in a fruitless pool away game, whereas Bruno surely plays more.

Think I'm going Martinelli in the end, and evading the Leicester risk. And I have Saka too.
Just more for Arsenal to play for in the league.

Very similar to you with similar Cancelo envy.
You persuaded me off Amartey, so I'll have Schmeichel instead and just need to decide on my 3rd starting doubling defender. I have Schar and Telles and will have cedric as filler..unless I go with Garbriel then I'll probs just bung filler on the bench.

KWP, Cedric/Gabriel in the thoughts for now. 45mins to decide.

Yeah that option then opens up maybe bringing in Jota and KDB until the end of the season instead. Gah. I think against all judgement I want Bruno back in for one final fling.

Backing 3 teams strongly in Arsenal, United and Tottenham who all have plenty to play for.
Three defenders who will play and have good attacking returns chances.
No Maddison risk.
2 subs who can play, in Brownhill and Amartey.


Slight doubt Ronaldo v Bruno, but Ronaldo's hauls have been fairly low in fairness. Bruno gives more ways to get points and surely plays more minutes, so has to be the percentage play. Probably doesn't have pens though, but Ronaldo has had a few little niggles recently too. So Bruno has to be the play really.

Just that slight Bruno v Ronaldo captaincy thing. But I think you have to go Bruno on the percentages, simply for the extra ways to score points, plus more likely to play more minutes angles.

Whoops was still editing my waffle with a bit more explanation :)

But I hope Liverpool having a huge battle today, means they'll rotate a little / be a bit more worn out against us.
Plus us knowing we can upset their title aspirations being a big factor too. You'd hope!!
 
Bah missed the deadline while cleaning the bbq. Maddison captain it is. Was actually considering a major gamble in Schar so maybe I've done myself a favour there...?

Get him back on a FH and he instantly blanks. This troll manages to piss me off almost every single week whether I own him or not. Hope he fecks off from the league in the summer.
 
Glad I didn't triple up the Spurs attacking coverage!
However, not too gutted at Son & Kane blanks, as had to cover those.
Would only have been annoyed if I'd gone Kane over Ronaldo, and know that Ronaldo would beat Kane's score just by turning up in both games!
 
I adviced my friend from Belgium to not go for Trossard on free hit and not go Castagne for rotation risk. Watch Castagne play both games now and smash it.
 
Slight worries this is going to be one of those games we're screaming GET FORWARD to Bruno.
