But after the Everton game, you have 3 more games to play catch up with the AM chip and if Liverpool win at least 2 of them (which is very likely) that's at least circa 20 points.
Moyes looks like a good play here but if Liverpool hammer them Slot would overtake him.
Other way for me, would have been really frustrating if Everton scored 4 and he got nothing. He outscored Gakpo which is a big win also as I swapped them.
Yeah Sandy is jumping the gun a tad. Salah braces against Everton again and TC was very much the play.

So far I wouldn't be regretting or second guessing the AM too much. If you have the AM you have 5 games. Almost certainly there will be no double/double the rest of the season so this is the one and only shot at it. If you go for a banker AM (likely to win) for all five games and those 5 games are won that's at least 6x5 - 30 points. If you punt you'd get 4 games and you'd need to the bonus on 3 of 4 to get 30. Even finding the opportunity to get 3 bonus matches 3 weeks in a row is kind of tough, much less hitting on all 3. Also, don't forget another benefit of having Slot. Arsenal might beat Newcastle then you have the money to switch to Arteta for an Arsenal double next week, or the banker against WH in 25.

For once I’ve had a gamble pay off, even if they do nothing against Liverpool. Brought in Pickford, Doucoure and Ndiaye.
Can’t imagine either Doucoure or Ndiaye will be long term holds, but you’d never know, maybe Moyes has them ticking.

Happy with the AM so far with 10 points banked by Slot in the tough away fixture to Bournemouth. 4 games left with the chip too. Salah double really isn’t the end of the world, you would fancy that down the stretch in the next DGW for Liverpool near the end of the season when they’ll likely have another anyway. Highly doubt anybody is getting another chance at hitting 5 games for AM chip so still feels the right play. Just need Liverpool to beat Everton now and it’ll be a great play of the chip to start.
Newcastle boys probably out of the team now, certainly Gordon anyway. Isak probably out as well for next weekend games.

Rogers is such a troll. Said he was potentially a season keeper but I think I might need to move him on after 25. Need a spot for Mbeumo/Foden to go with Salah, Palmer, Amad and a Bournemouth mid.
Yeah he's just as likely to get booked than to score or assist. Will probably replace him soon too.

Had Wood for a while earlier in the season but that was it. Sold him back in GW 14 and it seemed alright, 1 return in the next 5 weeks for him but he's gone bonkers again the last months or so. Then there's all the defenders/Sels.

Could have been better If I'd either played Jiminez over Isak or Rogers. Or done another freebie of Jiminez to Ndaiye and again, played him over the 2 above...but don't think either seemed great risks.
Unreal start with Wood but then all a bit downhill from there. Salah did great as captain but that means nothing as everybody went with him. Gordon, Isak, Konsa, Rogers and Kerkez all pretty much duds. And to cap it off Trent get's a clean sheet but goes off injured and wont play against Everton.

Good for me if he isn't as I don't have him but tht's a fair bit of time for him to recover for you. Just seen Slot saying thinks he's out this midweek for the Carabao SF second leg. Then you have the FA Cup which he might've been rested for anyway, and only then it's the Everton game.
