Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

In fact, wildcard draft as below.... 6 transfers, which feels worthy of the wildcard - plus obviously it's a use it or lose it job if not.

Sanchez (Fabianski)
Gabriel TAA Robinson Hall Mazraouri
Salah Palmer Bruno Rogers Amad
Isak Jesus Wood

0.00 left

Bruno might become Diaz.
Currently on losing Enzo from the 3 5ish million player (Amad and Rogers staying).
Maz almost went to Mykolenko

It's open to change and suggestions - haven't pushed the button yet
May have missed the Isak fun, with Villa A, us H and Tottenham in there - or he might just be getting started!

I’m not sure on a United triple up.

Beyond that it’s as good as any I’ve seen.

Drop Maz to Mykolenko, will serve you well for that double Everton have upcoming. Bruno/Amad might be overkill but in isolation, they're fine. Bruno is Bruno and Amad is the same quality as his peers Enzo, Rogers, Iwobi etc.

Ta both - Maz hasn't really had much chance of points in this woeful transition team we have. Especially as he's deployed more as a right sided centre back than wing back anyway.

Diaz could bang, but we all know he'll play 1 of the 2 whereas Bruno probably plays 2. But then after those 2 we have Anfield. Which will be a 1 point max.

Triple United? I would drop Maz to a 4.2 or 4.3 and upgrade one of Rodgers/Amad to Sarr.

I like Mykolenko too. It's squad structure dependent at the end of the day though, different people going to have different ideas on that.

The way I'd look at it is that Gabriel and TAA are going to be starting every week. One more defender rotating in and out unless you're actually looking to start 4 sometimes? Robinson, Hall, Maz just seems pricey or overkill if only one will start each week.

Depends what you can do with the money. If it's nothing then it doesn't matter.

Would be considering these:

Hall or Maz (or similar price) + Myko then Andersen or Castagne to give maximum rotation options, picking the third defender to start depending on fixtures.

Robinson + Myko + Fodder (Bednarek?) - no point having having another Fulham defender in the likes of Andersen if you already have Robinson, you'd never choose him to start. Could easily be Hall + Myko + Fodder too. Two rotational choices plus a 4.0 fodder seems enough.

Whater the case I really like Mykoloenko as a choice.

Is anyone shipping Wood? I've got about 0.5m value in him I'd lose, and he's probably the best bet in his price range still?

But is Isak-Jackson-Jesus too tempting to ignore?
Jesus will be injured again soon so then you can bring Wood back in

First time posting this season as I’m doing ok but just cannot think what to do this week having managed to give myself 4 FTs and I feel like I’m going to need to work Haaland back in soon

Currently got:
Veerbruggen/Flekken
Aina/Hall/Robinson/Mazraoui/Davis
Mbuemo/Saka(needs to go)/Palmer/Salah/Rogers
Wood/Cunha(not banned yet????????)/João Pedro

Not putting anymore United players in and I’m tempted to get rid go Saka, Cunha and Max for another Liverpool midfielder but concerned about rotation and some other similarly priced midfielders and defenders of which I think there are plenty

I know Haaland has a decent run coming up but I honestly don't think he's coming back in for me this season. I think the money he frees up enables so many other areas that he becomes unnecessary.

Obvious misses are Isak and at least one goons df I guess?

Goalie pick is easy. Who out of the rest though… and replacement for Saka?

Estupinan (home to Brentford)
Martinez (away to Wolves)
Gabriel (home to Ipswich)
TAA (home to Leicester)
Lewis (home to Everton)

Amad (away to Wolves)
Salah (home to Leicester)
Palmer (home to Fulham)
Saka (dead)
Johnson (away to Forest)

Duran (away to Newcastle)
Cunha (home to the future 26/27 champions)
Pedro (home to Brentford)

Tempted to play four at the back. Swap Saka/Cunha for Jackson and Diaz. 442

Personally

GK
Gabriel, TAA, Estu
Salah, Palmer, Saka (replacement), Amad
All three strikers

Lewis first bench

Jackson / Diaz or Foden / Wood?
Jackson looks good but has that yellow over him but more concerning is that nkunku may play the Ipswich game. I might get him soon.

Wood wil tick along but a bit boring. Fine as a transfer in.

Diaz/Foden massive upside but obviously rotation risk but if you're chasing rank, they can massively help.

Considering the unfashionable Mbeumo as my Saka replacement. He's proved me wrong since I sold him.

Plays full 90s, is on pens and plays Friday-Wednesday the next 2. That's the biggest gap there is between games other than Arsenal who also have the same schedule and they face each other.

Fixtures the only thing, but can make a case for some of them not being so bad. The FDR thing with their colour coding and fixture rating out of 5 looks scarier than it is a lot of the time.

Brighton A - average away game
Arsenal H- truly hard to play them anywhere, at least it's at home
Southampton A - very nice
City H - Rated 4 out of 5 for difficulty. Not a chance it is that hard, it's a good fixture for attackers
Liverpool - H - shipped 10 goals in their last 4 away games in the league, at least 2 each time. 5 for difficulty? Pfffft.
Palace A - see Brighton
Spurs H - see City

Then we have the "easy" ones.

Edit: Hmmm, can go Saka & Semenyo > Bruno & Mbeumo

Cunha won't be banned for Boxing day at this point, 2FTs. The only other thing I might want to do is mess around with the defence instead and grab TAA like everyone else.

FPL Twitter seems to be piling on Sarr. Just don’t see it… though S’ton next week .

Kind of get it, fixtures have been flagging up as really nice from that Southampton game onwards for a long time now.

I look at some of those points predictors at times, all showing Eze, Munoz and Mateta coming to fore from then onwards as possible options since a few weeks back. Eze so out of form that he's not worth it, but Sarr really stepping it up in terms of returns and underlying numbers like how @RDCR07 mentioned above. He's become interesting.

One of the big content creators has been banging on about Palace options from the same time for a good few weeks as well, Andy from Let's Talk FPL. Influence from him no doubt too. Think he;s the biggest channel there is.

Saka out just causing people to jump 1 week early I guess.
