Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

Jumping the gun early... Everton have already denied Liverpool*, Chelsea and Arsenal this December, why will the putrid form City fare any better.

*=via Storm.
Something has to give for City. I feel like they will step up these next 5 cause it’s tricky after that. So it’s now or never for them to salvage this season.

Still when you look at their xGC it’s just really high pr game. I doubt they turn it around fast, but there’s a big upside if you pick them and they regain their old mojo.

Was considering Saka to a rested KdB myself, but it also seems a bit strange he didn’t come on against Villa when chasing.

Sick of this now. 79 all out. Cunha > Jesus. Last rodeo for Shitoma and Evanlison as well.

Fabianski
Hall Maz Kerkez
Salah (c) Palmer Amad Mitoma
Jesus Haaland Evanilson

Verbruggen Rogers Robinson Greaves

Not really. We're playing Wolves and Fulham are away at Chelsea. I mean obviously it will end up being the wrong decision no matter what but on paper it's the right play.
I guess but both Fulham and us aren’t going to get a clean sheet but at least Robinson has more of a chance of getting an attacking return.

Thank you Solanke for the farewell gift. Time for me to plague action Jackson. I'll make sure he gets that yellow that everyone's been fearing and then miss the Ipswich game

109, first century since starting to play last season. Cheers Mo, he really boosted everyone's scores in the end.

@Sandikan I see he had a great impact on you too. When I was telling you to cheer up earlier because it was a fairly low scoring week I'd just looked at the weekly averages at a couple of different ranking levels. Top 1m was something like 46 at the time, top 100k 53. That ended up at 82 and 87 due to Salah alone.

Having a great season since deciding to become a massive stats nerd in about week 8. Delighted with the way it's going even though I'm probably spending way too much time on it all.

Currently thinking of the dude on Reddit a couple of weeks ago who told me to "get your xG outta yo ass" when he was trying to say Wood was a better pick than Isak, citing Newcastle's game vs West Ham as a reason why because Isak missed some chances.

Yes, I'd overlooked that not everyone would have go dece hauls from 3 of their defence like me, plus Cunha.

I noticed one geezer above me (pre update!) has a score of 66, and an incredible 36 on the bench! Rogers (14), Aina (15) and Mylo (7). That is outrageous.

Current team?

Is there a better free website than livefpl.net? Tired of all the ads on there.

87 not 86 in the end - i clearly can't count OR they changed the bonus points.

Hall is on 7, which I swear he wasn't earlier, did they give him a bonus today?

There's a guy in one of my mini leagues who has Ramsdale, Rogers, Aina and Mykolenko all stuck on his bench. 46 points, absolutely brutal.

I'm thinking to do Saka out for Diaz for the Boxing day games but it feels like the time when rotation will start and sting me.

2 FTs, looking like Saka and Cunha out.

Glad I don't have to make my mind up tonight on replacements even if it looks like Saka might drop in price. Can eat 1 on each without it affecting sale price.

Little part of me hoping Cunha is available for United. If he appealed or disputed the charge could it be a while longer until we hear of a ban? I don't know. A lot of people are classing that game as the first bad one in Wolves' fixture turn, not sure I'd completely agree. Will leave the decision late on him.

Greaves supposed to be dropping in price tonight, nothing I can do there.

Been trying to offload Lewis for a long time, never finding a convenient moment.

Semenyo kind of new to the squad, done nothing for me yet. 2 blanks and benching. He was Mbeumo's replacement in order to fund Isak.

It’s funny how Haaland is at 35% ownership and Salah is at 65% ownership. It’s still one or the other.

Your in the top 10k and I'm having the worst season of my life yet we share 11 players. Crazy.

Although I also hit 100+ today so that's a lot of ground made up in my mini leagues.

Nah you'll be ok. He'll be benched for Nkunku in the week.
Didn't think about that, they can rotate. Maybe I should just keep Solanke, who will always play 90 if fit.

My seasons been getting back on track the last few weeks so need to not do anything stupid for a while.

Waiting of the inevitable Sanchez benching too. Hopefully Palmer plays throughout.

Think Maresca would be smart to play Jackson v Fulham and bench him for Ipswich if he's determined to play him in only one of the two. Makes more sense to me anyway.

First choice in the more difficult game.

More than that , a yellow v Fulham would mean he's suspended for Ipswich, the game he was going to rest him for anyway if he takes this line of thinking. Whereas a rest vs Fulham then a booking v Ipswich would see him miss Palace, 2 games with no Jackson altogether. Ipswich being the last game he'd need to survive with no yellow.

Lucky timing , jumping on them at the right moment and a couple of twists of fate. Forced into a move or two, or been unable to make what would have been a bad move or two due to needing my transfers elsewhere and cover an emergency.

Been saved from making a few bad decisions from advice on here too.

Gun pointed at you, would you do Solanke to Jackson this week?

Alternate plans are Pedro to anyone up to 8.1. or Semenyo to anyone 7.8.

I’d do Pedro to Jesus

He’s in great form so has probably guaranteed a starting spot for next few matches at least

Think it maybe time to retire. After 20 years of only having one finish above 600,000 my rank now is 5.5 million. Can't seem to get anything right this year. After having Haaland from the start, I just transferred him out. Watch him go on a tear the next few weeks.

If you’ve held onto him this long (like I have) I don’t see why you’d pull the trigger on him before

Everton H
Leicester A
West Ham H
Brentford A
Ipswich A

Just checked and I could do that as well as Solanke to Jackson.

Just wondering if that Solanke to Jackson transfer is worth it.

Solanke hold on balance. The Jackson rotation and suspension jeopardy a bit too offputting right now.

Forest away next for Solanke isn't the best fixture looking at pure xG or goals conceded for games at the City Ground. However, Forest have played quite a lot of the bad teams there so far. Wolves, West Ham, Palace and Ipswich.

Wolves at home after that for Solanke. It's possible that things are going to be different under Pereira and Wolves did keep a clean sheet today. Still, got to look at that as a good one for Dom.

Would re-assess in week 21 when Solanke has Arsenal followed by Everton, both away. Jackson with Bournemoth and Wolves, both home those weeks.

Spurs do have great firepower in general. I know Solanke can frustrate and they can spread the goals around between everyone else but him at times. Still, I think he's a hold here.

Cheers. Might just yolo Jesus in. Can't be any worse than Pedro that waste of spunk.
