Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

Can't see any update on the Cunha charge yet?
Has to be banned surely, but still stick to the glimmer of hope it might be delayed until after this game week, but surely won't.

If we don't hear anything by end of today I'd say he's ok. Annoyingly we don't even know if they appealed or not. On the positive side Isak and Jackson did not go up overnight as I thought they would.

So yeah - nothing by end of today I'll hold, ban and I go to Isak.

Rogers, Amad, Enzo, Iwobi are all doing well in that £5-6m range.

Rogers has the fixture tomorrow with City at home as well. Expect a haul as I'm benching him at the moment.

Armband this week?

Salah, Isak and Palmer are on my shortlist, doesn't seem to be a clear cut one this week.

I had mine on Isak but after watching Spurs last night, I'll put it on Salah. The way they play is so open that even if they play well, they will ship chances. I don't see a scenario where they can keep a cleansheet.

If he's definitely out i'll do him to Raul.

But slightly nervous Maz has a 75% flag as Ait Nouri and Bartoli are my 4th and 5th defenders. Might look at the Fulham fulback otherwise.

Need to do wildcard this week or next, so don't want to do a -4.

I'm on Palmer v Everton at the moment, but might be persuaded to move.
Everton shutting Arsenal out was a real surprise.

Maz played last night so no idea why that flag is still on him.

Only to have Gakpo or Jota to score all the goals.

Ahh I assumed it was after yesterday but if it was before even better.
Though if he's back to wide of the 3 centre backs he's less haul worthy

You think? I think he'll have more chance of an assist from there personally. Linking up quite well with Amad as well. Happy to have both.

I think Maz is a good pick escpecially at this price but i sold him for Gabriel this week as Maz seems to be a bit of a rotation/minutes risk for me.

And I already own Amad&Bruno and i think triple United is a bit too much

Probably Salah for me. Expecting goals galore in his game.

Spurs 3-4 Chelsea, Spurs 4-3 United, Southampton 0-5 Spurs etc. Liverpool's last 3 away in the league 2-2, 2-3, 3-3. A 2-2 home draw vs Fulham last week too, 10 men but they'd already conceded by the time of Robertson's red which very possibly prevented another.

Everton looking good defensively so not Palmer. In their last 11 they have 6 clean sheets, conceded one 4 times and there was the 4-0 vs us which flattered us on the xG. There was some dispute on the actual xG numbers for that one, some people didn't really believe them to be fair. Around 1.1.

Cunha if taking a punt. 8.43 xG against Leicester in Ruud's 3 games in charge. West Ham battered them, couldn't believe they lost, so did Newcastle. A better showing v Brighton but not exacty leak-proof. 2 goals conceded for over 1.5 xG.

Assume Cunha hasn't had his ban then, as that'd be more than a punt otherwise!

Liam Keen (whoever that is) says as of 2.30 he's free to play v Leicester...let's hope it stays that way as that's a plum fixture even for Wolves.

Cheers guys, looks like Salah it is.

Joachim Andersen 4.2m Def is confirmed as being back for Fulham.

Only 2 clean sheets for them this season, but both with him in the side from his 9 starts.

SOU(H)CHE(A)BOU(H)IPS(H)WHU(A)LEI(A)MUN(H)

They have conceded 1.21 xG per 90 with him in the team, 1.28 overall so he improves them.

Will he start is the question. A really good pickup though, might even make him my transfer now. Finally saying goodybe to Rico Lewis and saving 0.4.

Someone who will start for them is Castagne, also a 4.2m defender. Tete has been ruled out at right back for 8-10 weeks.

Silva:

"Some not good news about Kenny Tete. The impact to his shin was clear for anyone watching the game. A big knock and it has impacted his knee.

"It doesn’t need surgery but he is going to be out for at least 8-10 weeks. It might take him longer than that to get back to helping us at the level he has been every week.

"We have Timothy Castagne to replace him. He was impressive last season. When he took Tete's place, Kenny couldn't win it back. This season it has been the other way round as Timothy arrived a little late to pre-season."

Yeah I’m bringing in next week cause Hall has Villa and then United I think. At 4.2 he is a no brainer.

Ditched Haaland, going with:

Sanchez

Saliba Robinson Faes

Salah (C) Bruno Palmer (V) Rogers

Isaak Jackson Pedro

Subs - Fabianski Johnson Kerkez Ait-Nouri

Might hold off too, it depends. Could be tempted to grab him now in case of price rises. I wouldn't play him v Chelsea next week, but if everyone ends up grabbing him at some point before then he might go up and then I'd regret not buying in at 4.2.

Almost completely ruled out spending my 1 FT on Cunha out at this point, looks like any decision on his ban is delayed or would have expected to hear about it by now. We're after office hours on a Friday.

Thing is, was sort of hoping to roll if not selling Cunha. His ban might kick before they play United, a game I wouldn't have been too against holding him for at Molineux. Can see loads dumping him after this GW though regardless, and would be forecasting a price drop before the United game.

On top of that I only have the 1 FT. Sanchez, Rogers and Jackson on 4 yellows for me. Don't really need a situation where news of a Cunha ban comes through before United plus 1 or 2 of those get suspended for next gameweek with only 1 FT to navigate it all.

You held onto Haaland all this time and ditched him right before the incredible 5 games he got coming up after this week?

Yup - still think there will be better point options spread across a range of players than having the cost of 2 good players essentially rolled into 1

Nice. Been waiting on this guy. Good run of games coming up. Next weeks transfer

When you plan on rolling a transfer but you're worried about only having 10 available players, so you bring in van den Berg, only for him to now have a 25% chance of playing. feck this season. Unless Greaves re-emerges from his unknown absence then I'm a man short.

Rolling. With 3 players on 4 yellows and bad news looming over Cunha's head I need to be in a position to react and have the 2 transfers next GW.

Shame I can't grab anyone from Fulham right now be it Robinson, Castagne, Andersen, Iwobi or Raul who has such a high ceiling. Think this is sensible though.

Hall can play this week for me at the back no problem so there's no desperation for Fulham defence who still look like good targets for 19, Palace too from the same week onwards. It's Munoz or bust with them. Villa at home next week isn't too bad either for Hall.

Lewis still surviving somehow. With Everton, Leicester, West Ham in 18-20 he's a viable option if he actually plays. Will see what City do tomorrow as a potential guide, if he's back in the team or not.

Wouldn't have minded being proactive with one of my players on yellows, Rogers > Amad or Enzo but it's a bit of a luxury move right now. Semenyo very possibly on his way out soon, it's a matter of timing. Him to Iwobi might have been nice this week, and I'd have started Iwobi if I had him. Best holding though.

Sanchez
Gabriel Timber Hall
Salah(C) Palmer Saka Rogers
Isak Jackson Cunha

Fabianski, Semenyo, Lewis, Greaves

Rogers vs Semenyo starting a little bit tricky, think Rogers is the call here. It's close. Home game, City weak at the back vs Semenyo with better underlyings, away, United inproved defensively on xG since Amorim arrived.

Good luck people!
