Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

Do a lot of you chaps have Bruno Fernandes? Should I consider shifting Odegaard, another failed brainwave selection by me, with him?
Sold him for Amad then upgraded JSL to Isak.

Had written this off as a real life 2-0 loss pre kick off, but it's annoying Haaland wasn't at least the one to score.

Was thinking of getting Bruno too at some point too but it's a few weeks off, agree that all this playing deeper stuff at times isn't the best.

Got no real plan right now. Like all Cunha owners, might have to react to what happened with him yesterday that so was thinking if I went Cunha > Raul it would free up a bit of money. Would still be short of reaching Bruno at that point but Jackson > Wood would then enable Semenyo > Bruno.

Jackson still on those 4 yellows, dodged the 5th for ages now hasn't he? Hopefully that doesn't hit today. Don't need Cunha and Jackson both potentially missing next week. He's also at the point where he's avoided the 5th for so long that he might just avoid the ban altogether - got to get past week 19 I believe?
Under Van N with easy fixtures - Bruno a great option.
In this 3 at the back nonsense, tougher fixtures - absolute write off

Ffs Bruno should have buried that.

Amad repaying my faith I had in him at the start of the season. Wavered a bit half way through but guys saving my team right now.

Has to finally be time to get Haaland gone? Have stubbornly held on, but has to be time now.

Nice 9 pointer for Bruno as an exit gift. Should help cover Palmer captainers haul that is coming

His fixtures are turning now, if you held him this long I would keep, I'll be keeping him for the next few if he doesn't delivery he will be out. But I wouldn't blame anyone who transfers him out now.

I'll have to have a look. Still have the wildcard to use before it runs out - but the Haaland 15m would be the huge gamechanger to use to fix the rest.

Would like Amad, but he's low priority. Maybe at wildcard.

Benched Rogers this week and if I had Amad instead he'd have been on the bench. Not much point spending a transfer for that.

These budget guys often look tempting for a while. McNeil earlier in the season, Enzo recently. Jacob Murphy smashing it the past 2 games, think a lot were looking at him pre-season if my memory is correct. Even Soucek still does something everything now and then.

Just hard to switch from one the other unless the way the squad is set up means you have find starters at that price bracket, or unless one becomes a must have starter every week above and beyond everything else.

Yeah he's taking a massive chunk of my budget. It also depends on your setup, at the moment I have Isak and Pedro, I don't really fancy any other strikers right now (maybe Jackson?).

And if I sell Haaland the best use of the money would be to upgrade my defence and I don't see much value in the expensive defenders at the moment. So these are my reasons that are edging me towards keeping. Obviously each team will have their own circumstances.

Bringing Saka in would be one big upgrade with the money, but then he blanks home to Everton.
So maybe i'll give it all a proper look tomorrow, remind myself the last week for the wildcard and sit through still.

Think someone said in 2 weeks there's some plum games to really try and capitalise on.

Yeah Saka is another miss, but it's not like he's been returning a lot lately either, Haaland has actually outscored him over the last 3, so hasn't really been a loss not having him.

Of course I left Amad on the bench

Amad with 10 points on the bench. It's my fault really for trusting bums like Solanke or Larsen over him.

Solanke. Five goals in one half. He's their centre forward. He has zero goals. Can't wait to bin this useless fraud of a footballer.

The excitement I had, as a Solanke owner, checking to see the goals and assists when I see Spurs 5-0 up at the break :(

Jackson misses a great chance.

Good to see Son in form, viable if one of the big 3 midfielders gets injured or even if they went off the boil. Guessing he was subbed off because the game was won, rather than injury?

After blanks from Palmer, Jackson and Enzo standing on top of that giant 39 pts tower is making me dizzy.

I took Enzo last week as a differential only to have my ML leader pick him up this week. So irritating.

Palmer (c), Pedro, Solanke with a solid 13 points between them. I was really hoping to cut the lead on many in my league with that lineup... Nope.
