Fantasy Premier League 2024/25

I brought in Saliba for Trent, and probably going to go with Saliba+Raya+ two 4.5m defenders soon

I want better midfielders and attackers

2 Arsenal defenders or 1 defender + 1 goalie does look strong. Been considering similar.

Got Gabriel and went from Trent to Hall, but Arsenal's Timber at 5.5 was calling out to me as he should get a run in the team with Ben White now ruled out for months. Still might get him soon an upgrade on Rico Lewis.

Palmer not involved at all. One lousy goal in 6 as things stand. He's disposable.

Aye he’s been poor of late, it’s because he’s capable of those mega hauls in one off games that prevents you from selling him but you just never know when he’ll produce those performances. He’s not as much of the main man this season like he was previously and for the price it’s hard to justify him being in your team a lot of the time. I think I’ll persist for another few weeks before I start looking elsewhere.

I just got off that, dropping Raya and keeping Gabriel. Whilst on paper it sounds great, one goal conceded and half your defense are on 2 points each, which is so frustrating.

Definitely hurts when one goal wipes you out like that. Feels like you're up against it for the rest of your FPL weekend and need everyone else to dig you out of a hole because of a single moment.

On the other hand, statistically it doesn't matter according to people that sound brainier than me.

It's whether you want to subject yourself to the frustration you mentioned I suppose. Can make things a lot less fun at times.

Timber seems like a good pick that's gone under my radar. Hall seems like another good option, I'm considering him too. Ait-Nouri is my other starting defender, so my defense is almost complete.

Yeah I'll be keeping him over the next few weeks, if he doesn't start returning switch to Saka.

Well obviously everyone should've captained Enzo Fernandez, who didn't see that coming?

Where's Ait Nouri lining up today? Possible role change?

I don't have him, just been going through all the lineups and Wolves have made a few changes. Difficult one to figure out.

Rodrigo Gomes who often plays left mid or deputises for Ait Nouri starting in the same lineup.

Yeah could well be in back 3. I have him and it’s not so sexy if he plays defensively for fecking wolves who are hopeless in terms of clean sheets

I've got Palmer but so do most of my rivals so a blank here I don't mind. Looking to get 12 points from Jackson and a cleansheet from Sanchez. So don't mind a Palmer blank at all.

It's the old "centre halves are for dummies" tactic. Should be a fun game, especially for Jimenez. Shame he doesn't score many headers anymore since the incident.

Sake Chelsea, just when we couldn't hate them anymore.
At least no Palmer spanking this week.

Jackson woohoo! Sanchez and Palmer bollocks. Close to so much more.

Chelsea so indisciplined as a team. Most yellows and and most penalties conceded. Don't think they're dirty, just young and stupid. Make daft decisions at times in general. Was more obvious last season with a lot of the results they had and now with everyone 1 year older it's still there but to a lesser degree. Silly pens, silly cards, silly passes, silly players getting in each other's way.

FFS! Not only has Palmer been denied a goal and an assist but now Colwill’s lost his CS! Another shite start, I really need a good GW as well. No doubt Scandi is going to punish me later for selling him as well.

Semenyo with a great shot already, he’s gonna score big today
I have him so that's not happening.

What this Palmer goal and assist everyone talking about? I didn't see the game.

What a transfer Digne was, feck knows why I went for the biggest troll in FPL history.

Correction: didn't even fecking start, hopefully he doesn't come on.
