Fantasy Premier League 20/21

Ok. I am throwing Werner out. I can get Kane or I can go for cheaper option like Maupay or Wilson/Watkins, thus saving my money for adding another quality midfielder in next GW or worst change Bruno if goes down with the virus.

Is Kane worth the money over the other guys in form?

It really depends on the rest of your team. Do you have Son?

Kane has been brilliant for the past few GWs, and I don't see why that should stop, really. With Bale coming in to feed him from the right as well, Tottenham might score for fun.

West Ham are often a bogey team for Tottenham, but its hard to avoid their goal threat. Although that has been away from home.

I have Son captain at the mo.

No Kane at the moment as my midfield is stacked.

Any advice on who the best defender(s) from 4.0 to 5.4 would be to bring in for the next 3-6 games?

My backline is:
Trent - Lamptey - James - Mitchell - Vinagre

Looking to shift the 3 for someone with good fixtures.

I can go James > Bellerin as Arsenal are getting better defensively (if he plays), but also I could go James/Vinagre out for Van Aanholt/Brantwaith, and then have both palace left-back options, as they have a great schedule. Just not sure I like the price of 5.4 for Van Aanholt who isn't that consistent. Considering a rotational pair too of say 4.5 / 4.9, as it would be nice with some depth.

(already got 3 x Villa)

I know West Ham have terrible fixtures for the next 3 games, but Cresswell might still get an assist or three. West Ham have been very good to start the season, and both City and Liverpool look a bit shaky at the back.

Is Van A even definitely back? After an injury that can't be a given anyway?

Martinez
Digne Justin R.James
Salah KDB Son J.Rodriguez
Kane DCL Watkins

Subs: shite, shite, shite & shite
£0.0m in the bank.

Happy with the first 11 finally (except R.James but would've had to take another hit to get him out this week), please no one convince me otherwise as I badly need to stop tinkering with it with knee jerk reactions after every GW...

Not sure who to replace R.James with as everyone is conceding this season. Ideally Castagne but can't afford him so maybe Lamptey.

already taken a 4 point hit and have no Spurs players. I'll have to stick and be a West Ham fan this gameweek.

Advice on captain choices between Bruno + Salah?

Obviously we are shite and god knows what type of performance/system we will have. But I think Bruno 100% plays, and if the team is going to look for a reaction from last week, we may actually surprise everyone with a strong result. Bruno would be likely to be among the involvements.

Salah is also facing Everton, so it's a derby. How is his record in derbies? It probably goes out the window though because this Everton side looks different - Allan and Docoure look like they can hustle in midfield a lot better and stop any attacks.

Hmm, I'll look into him. I do have a feeling though that WHA latest results is a bit of statistical fluctuation/luck. But maybe Rice/Soucek stabilises the defence a bit? Preseason they were terrible (and without those two)

It's so difficult to figure out which teams are solid defensively this year. So far at least. Which is why I'm trying to build towards attacking output from the defenders instead. The "expected clean sheets" approach has not worked out well for me so far.

That's a stable shout. Could be an option. I want someone with attacking output in case the defence turns shit. He's been going a bit more forward this season. Hmm. The boring/safe choice :D
Cash is an option. Great attacking stats in the Championship, and good fixtures with Villa.

This game is fun... but the saddest part is if you want to compete at the top, :(you have to throw your fanboy out the window - not choosing any United players at all... at least for now.

Best one is Bruno... but even him is getting significant lower points compare to other better options.

I for the first time in a long time have no united assets in my team. Just wildcarded and it looks like this :

Martinez
Chilwell - Roberson - KWP
KDP - Salah - James (Eve) - Grealish
Brewster - Kane - DCL

Bench : Steer, Dallas, Bissouma, Ferguson.

Was torn between KDP/Bissouma or Bruno/Soucek, I don't know if i have made the right choice.

Swapping Foden for Barkley can enable me to go Jimenez to Kane as I already have 1m in the bank. Although I’d have to take a -4 to do both this week.

Tempted to leave it one more week to see how Spurs do, and if Barkley or McGuinn is the better option.

It definitely wasn’t in the plan to get Kane, but Jimenez has has been pretty disappointing over the easier fixtures.

Son and Kane in. Not feeling that good about for this week, but hopefully it will reward me in the future.

I did my Wildcard at the start of the break.

Got rid of TAA/Klich/Connolly/Greenwood for Jorginho/Son/Chilwell/Bamford

I haven't been overly impressed with KDB and got rid of him before the Leeds game for Salah and looks to have been a good decision if he's injured now.

I still have 1m in the bank but I'm happy enough at the moment. Lucky I didn't wait as a number of them have gone up in price now.

Going with Son as captain this week. Cue Spurs WH 0-0 and a Greenwood hat-trick

Ryan (Mc Carthy)

Chilwell - Castagne - Ayling - (KWP Branthwaite)

Rodriguez - Salah - Fernandes - Jorginho - Son

DCL - Ings (Bamford)

I'm toying with bringing in Saiss for Ayling.

I do not have Son.

I can bring in Son for Zaha or Kane for Werner.

Can you do both?

I think Son/Kane for Zaha/Werner is a bit of a no brainer
No. I had already played the wildcard in GW3. So I can do only one transfer.
Yes, I know it is a no brainer. Just confused which one to do now. If I do one, I will not have the balance to get the other even in next week, unless any of the big names are going out.

Have a look at the fixtures I suppose. I think Zaha might have a better run of fixtures than Werner.

KDB hurts me quite a bit. Only have the choice to bring in Lamptey or Brewster. Should I bench Mitchell this week for Lamptey?

Think I'm going to have to start Brewster.

I have the money to do Kane in for a hit. It's either Ings or Jimenez out. Which one do we all reckon?

Both have tricky looking games this week but Ings has probably looked the better player so far. Only 1 more goal though mind you.

Sterling is yellow and it says 75% chance of playing, I want to swap him for KDB but is he likely to play? He's the most expensive i can afford. Havertz maybe?

Vinagre going on loan is annoying too though im doing so badly its irrelevant!

Werner can stay for now as I have more pressing issues but if he blanks against a leaking Southampton hes in the bin.

How long is KDB out for? I think I'll just keep him if it's not too bad.

Took a -4 to get to this team:

McCarthy

TAA - Saiss - Dallas (KWP) (Johnson)
Salah - Son - Sterling - Rodriguez (Soucek)
DCL - Jimenez - Brewster
Took out Vinagre for Saiss and upgraded Foden to Son.

I think I am going to set this team with Salah (C) till Nov 7 barring any injuries.

Zaha vs Brighton or Saint Maxim vs us. Intend to put one of them on bench so that I can pick 3 forwards

Who will bring more points?

I’m probably going to get Son in and save the money to swap him back to KDB when the fixtures turn. I was going to get rid of Foden this week, as I felt like Pep might have dropped him, but he must start with KDB out.
