On paper that looks very silly. Can't wait to come back and see how it turned out next week.

Yeah I've seen what Ole said as well. Let's face it, deep down we all know it's only really a dgw with the hope of maybe a sub appearance (for the 3rd fixture) but it just looks so good having tgw players in your team. I lose nothing by binning Alonso and Dias for free anyway tbh but it did steady my mind when it came to taking any hits. I just don't see them paying off unless you get very lucky.
 
So with Oles comment about noone playing 3 games. Should we still go with Bruno captain?

It is too late to get Zaha for me otherwise he could be a good punt captain.
 
Watkins or DCL? Zaha or greenwood ?

I can either go zaha for son & Watkins for vydra or go greenwood & DCL.
 
who would you bench - Kane or Rudiger (DGW)?

Im Wildcarding so the rest of my team have 2 or 3 matches this GW
 


On a -8 what you guys think? Also am tempted to bring Guita in for another hit.

I think it was more Maguire had the record of playing every MINUTE in every game, rather than every game as such.
But as a centre back you don't really want to be subbing them in and out, unlike other positions.

So Bruno will definitely play in all 3, unless we're cruising 5-0 in the second one.

Got to back the attacker. Especially when the defender has Man City in his double, and also is wearing a face mask and surely doesn't play two anyway with 2 cup finals coming up
 
I could actually sell Kane for someone playing twice but Ive got a fair bit of value tied up in him so not sure its worth it - Ive got Ihenacho and DCL already
 
Last knockings. Can't see any of my rivals bringing Zaha in, as they'll need to be sorting their United coverage, so the risk is going Greenwood, knowing I have 7 + Davis's max 1 pointer next week.
Hopefully 9 doublers, Kane & Son secures a lead, or at worst keeps parity with those behind, so that a -8 or so to cover the big risks is doable and no issue.

Really hope Castagne especially smashes it tonight. Nacho can as well, but 2 of the 3 behind have him :)

If you're trailing and need a differential it could be. If you think Leeds will continue their tight home defence of recent times.
But you'll probably want Kane next week anyway.
 
Just had one last look at Lingard.

He's scored in 4 of their last 5 home games, with double figures in 3 of them.
Everton are decent away though, and with Antonio and Benrahma in there it felt like Lingard's hot spell had eased off a little. 1 goal in the last 3 and that was a pen.

Then looked back at Greenwood. Top of the midfield form table, and spoils in 3 games!
15 points in his last home game, and 11 points from just 18 mins v Tottenham!

Sod it, transfer done....

I would want Lingard for the last 3 games though. Thus if you get Greenwood you might want to reverse that transfer next week.

Price changes can be brutal. I think waiting normally is the best move though.

Can you go with Zaha instead or is he equally expensive to Greenwood?

Yeah, both 7.2m merchants.

Someone else said they had a price change issue coming, and I thought, glad I'm not in that boat.
Didn't give it a second look as had 0.6m handy and didn't think of it.

I might weigh up my original plan of Son & Davis to Greenwood & Watkins. I have Kane, and Leeds have drawn 0-0 at home to us and Chelsea, and 1-1 v Pool.

If ever there's a week all my rivals will take a -4 it's this one, it equalises out Watkins in their teams, and I suspect the 2 of them who don't have Son will have to sacrifice him to do Bruno anyway.
So a Son haul might not be quite the pain it would otherwise have been.

I just get the feeling Greenwood is critical this week.

You don't want to be taking a doubler out for -4 for certain.

I'm taking a big hitter out for -4, but I'm bringing 2 doublers (well 1 potential tripler) in for that.

Lingard has more upside from one fixture. Holding didn’t even start the last game did he?

I am not sure Holding start both games and not sure I trust Arsenal even if he do. West Ham looking pretty good recently so could see a high scoring game vs Everton.

Still 2 games got double the potential and West Brom is a nice fixture.
