Fantasy Premier League 20/21

Which Leeds player might be worth looking at for the future? I don't know enough about them.
They looked really good vs Liverpool.

From what I've read, the fullbacks are great value. Dallas last season got 5 goals 3 assists and Ayling I think it was 4 goals 4 assists.

I went with Dallas because a lot of people recommended on reddit.

Bamford scored 16 goals and a couple assists, apparently he's not the best striker but he put in many shifts last seasons and Bielsa will want to always find a spot for him. Not sure how he pans out with Rodrigo but I reckon your safest bet will be a FB.

Edit: Dallas got me an assist today.

I got Ayling on my bench, but not sure I trust him to start after conceding 4 goals. Most of the attackers are cheap. Who takes the pens? Could be worth a punt just to get that for little money.

Hmmm, looks like I'm wrong then. I was under the impression that they would squeeze 2 in.

Read somewhere that due to league Cup, European and international fixtures we won't be able to play our game in hand until around gameweek 18 or 19. No idea if that's true or not but there you go.

Fantasy has a new feature called The Scout which tells you all the set piece takers. Looks good. https://fantasy.premierleague.com/the-scout

Ah darn it.

Anyway one move I have in mind is Salah to Fernandes as I do not like Liverpools next 2 fixtures.

Or maybe see how Son fairs. I really want a Man Utd asset.

I was thinking Salah to fernandes also as Salah has hard games and is unlikely to go up in price.

I've also got son, but his fixtures are good so maybe worth keeping him.

There's something about Mourinho I just don't trust. It might be a good move to bring in Bruno for 2 weeks as I think Liverpool will find Arsenal and Chelsea a lot more tough especially with the way they played today.

Just looking at the top transfers. Willian it looks like is being replaced by Aubamayang.

Good move to free up funds? I just feel Willian will get benched more.

I really did want to do this move before the start of the season though.

37 with 4 left to play. Terrible start and possibly an early wild card to reshape things a little. No panic, but put a lot into a Liverpool/Southampton backline but both looked wide open and shaky against average teams today.

I was playing round and saw a restructure that I fancied.

No panic, but new approach needed, so I think I will bite the bullet!

I’d actually be fine with that, got Mitchell in position 1 on the bench sitting on 6 points..

41 points with Havertz, Werner, Egan and Doherty still to go. Not feeling great about it..
I have Mitchell and Lascelles both on six points. Really hope at least one of my remaining first XI doesn't play at all.
This is why I hate having starters on the bench. It hurts.

You're going wildcard after 1 GW? Knee-jerking at its finest right there.

Tripling up on Saints players came back to bite me in the arse. Who'd have thought! My first transfer was always going to be Ings out for Martial, but it still leaves KWP and McCarthy in defence. I've got Mitchell sitting pretty on the bench with 6 points so I'm tempted to sub him in. 56 with 4 to play.

EDIT. Ah, Palace have us next and with me telegraphing a Tony brace I'll probably have to back the Saints boys again.

Is 4 points penalty worth it? I don't know to use that or wild card?
I am going in week two with;
Ramsdale
Taa, VVD, Soyuncu, Dallas
Son, Salah, Hojbjerg
Martial, Kane, Mitrovic.
And i am not happy with it. My midfield is meh. I have 1,5 mil left so i can put bruno instead of Son. But that will be another 4 points penalty. ( already did 2 transfers).

Thos FF is nerve breaking.

I got 34 with Havertz, Son, Maupay and Davies to play and pretty happy with that to be honest. Any gameweek where I go above 50 is good. I don’t know why everyone has expectation to score 100 every week.

Thinking of dropping TAA for Doherty to enable Jimenez for Adams.
Any advice?
Imo TAA is point maschine. Pool will have a lot of cleen sheets plus he will get a lot of assists. Plus goal or two from free kicks

Just going above 50 may not be a good week if it proves to be a high scoring game week. What a 'good' pts tally looks like changes from week to week. It's all relative IMO.

It’s just the chance to play as many transfers in one week as you want.

you only get one ‘free’ transfer every week and additional transfers dock 4 points from your total.
if you play your wildcard, you can make unlimited transfers in one game week

Is TAA really worth it with an ownership close to 60%? I had him all of last season but then he cost a little less and was a lot less owned at first.

Depends. If he scores and keeps a clean sheet (which is likely), then suddenly 60% of the players will probably jump ahead of you.

I'm seeing KDB already had 60,000 people transfer him in. He's looking likely to a already go up in price.

I don't want to bring him in for Wolves game as Auba is playing a shite West Ham and can see him getting a free goals.

I was planning on swapping Salah to either Bruno or KDB but it looks like all Mane owners are jumping ship to Salah so his price may go up and I can't do that.

My only option now is to wait this week and swap out Auba and Son next week. If KDB does go up, I'll settle on Sterling instead...

What do you guys think about Lindelof? He is 5.00mil comparing to VVD 6.5mil. My thinking is that Lindelof will play also every game and have lots of cleen sheets so can save 1.5mil there

That's my thinking bro.
If I downgrade to Doherty that also frees up funds for Jimenez.
Seeing that Liverpool defence yesterday gave me the jitters!

I am thinking about it but is Doherty nailed starter though?

If anything I'd say that's more of a reason to have him. I know you want differentials to get ahead, but you also need to keep up with the pack.

With KDB price potentially going up, is it worth doing the Auba switch now considering Arsenal are playing West Ham and city are playing wolves?

Bielsa is a crazy genius, it could be the only time all season when Liverpool look that flaky.

VVD will score 6-8 goals this season, Lindelöf 0-1 goals, van Dijk also capable of a few assists. Clean sheets? Not sure we will keep as many as last season, we were much worse at the back than the stats suggest.

A few points I wanted to discuss.

1. Too early to say but Ings did not return, how much time to give him?

2. What are people's thoughts on TAA? letting in 3 goals is terrible.

3. Is anyone tempted to FH for GWK 2 or 3 when United and City play twice. Could be an amazing change to get some big points.

They have to confirm on the fixture dates first don't they?
Could be dangerous if it's early, as most of us will only have left room for 1 player so far.

Pereira at 6m for West Brom was always a punt! Will give him next week as well I think, but i think a decent template long term is 3 big/medium hitters rather than my current 2 +3cheaper punts (Pereira, Saint Maxim, Soucek)

Can't see Wbrom scoring enough, but it was worth a go, when they have a player with 8 goals and 17 assists from last season

Strange week so far, basically Salah's 40, Auba's goal, Justin and not a lot else. With Davies and Werner to go.

edit - Justin gets an assist as well :)

I'm giving him another week too. I'm thinking Foden at 6.5 might be worth the upgrade if Pep starts him regularly.
