Fantasy Premier League 20/21

You're playing dcl freshly off injury at anfield? Over two game ings?
And you're not intending to have Kane next week?

Does raphina in two games out score son?
I have Kane, Son and Dcl. I will bench Dcl for Pool and play Bamford. I don't have spot for Raphinha. I have Jack, Gundo, Bruno, Son and Maddison. I will not touch into that. I replaced Rash for Grealish this week

Gambling on Ings. DCL out.

Feck it. Lure of the doubles..

Same here. If DCL scores against Liverpool and puts them to the sword it's no disaster either.
And Ings could easily outscore him with 2 games v 1.

It depends on what the thinking is for the double. Everton and Spurs both likely to have doubles, so would you have Kane & DCL? Unlikely, so it's one or the other I think.

Besides, having attackers in doubles makes the games more interesting. Roll on Leeds at Wolves tonight :)
Raphina and Bamford (c)

So you tell me taking DCL out is mad in a game week you're not playing him :)
Fingers crossed the Grealish news isn't correct then!

I'll have Kane next week IF he comes through this week in one piece. Seems to be an injury doubt as Jose runs him into the ground.

I thought that you want to transfer him :nervous:

Hang on, just to double check... I wrote

" Son and dcl to raphina and ings?" As in the first 2 out, for the last 2 in.

Did you think I meant the transfers the other way round?!

Waited to the last minute for an annoucement!

Just ended up taking a hit, Grealish + Antonio out and Raphina and Ings in.

Will probably use WC next GW now.

Feck it rolled the dice late doors, Martinez and Cancelo out (bench) for Vardy and Ederson.

I feel Cancelo is due a spin on the Pep roulette.

Benced Grealish and Rudiger also :nervous:

Won't be the end of the world if Gundo is benched either as I have downloadable content on the bench.

Yeah. Similar thoughts. Bring on the high scoring thrillers! If fit, Kane in next week for me too.

You hang onto Son?

No, shipping him was the key to it all, as it brought in the much cheaper Raphina, which allowed extra wad to upgrade DCL to Ings, but still Ings to Kane next week for free. Also allows me to see how Kane goes at the weekend before bringing him in.

That'd give the below doublers, with firm support from single Bamford and Raphina in the case of any unforeseens.

Pope
Stones Dias Dier Shaw
Salah Bruno Grealish Gundo
Kane Watkins

No coincidence this.
I can imagine a room full of wankers counting down to the deadline before hitting the Enter button.

It shows how influential fantasy footy is that they have literally held off for this.

Having said that, Ben Crellin was about 90% spot on with his original reading of it, only thing he couldn't be 100% of, was which double a couple of teams would get.
With the various other leaks of managers mentioning their doubles, like Pep and Hodgson did, I don't see why this needed to ruin anyone's plans.

Checked Ben Crellin's take on the doubles, and if I do my intended transfers I'd have 11 doublers next week, even losing Son.

You're a brave man backing double Leeds defence!
I guess I thought if they keep one, it's doubled? :) Always been a gambler.

Where are you now? Top 100k?

Right now, I've got 3 Leeds DGWs followed by the other 12 DGWers next week. May tfr 1 to make 13

Just went to check, then remembered it's updating :)

Think it was top 75k.

I always read some of the kids on fantasy scout with their trackers, rotational keepers and defenders, planning miles ahead, and realise I'm small time to some of these anoraks

Feel like I messed up taking him out instead of Antonio, but was taking out both by next week any way.

You'll probably have Kane next week, so Kane & DCL is expensive in fairness. If you have a stacked midfield, which most of us will.

Also, Kane and DCL both have to come through injury free first too!

Looks good. I may even go back to DCL (or Vardy) if any issues with Kane..

They 1000% waited till the deadline.. but would have been fun to see the chaos if they had released them like 10 mins before it. FPL might have crashed

Looking at how many teams have DGWs next week. Maybe it was the best time for bench boost.
But I can field 11 DGWs next week, so I'm fairly happy. Could have used my wildcard to maximise for it but I think it's going to benefit me more using it after BGW29.

Top 1%? Nice.

Planning definitely makes a difference though.

In my league of 38, I was about midway and 150 points off top 8 weeks ago then started putting some thinking effort into it. Now 7th and 50-60 off (I was actually 6th until last week and got 94, git below me got 115).

Been making transfers based on form and fixtures for last 6 weeks BUT with DGW26 in mind. Hence have 12 already for next week, likely be 13.

Can't see there being a better one. Well I hope so as guy I'm close to got 21 from using it last week. Jammy

Our work league used to have 25 or so max back in the day, but under my utterly obsessional cajoling, it's up to 81, and was 90 last year!
I loosened it to be from a strict have to work at the co currently and only our office, to allowing old boys, a few suppliers and opened it up nationally to our other sites!

You can still make some major ground I reckon, but it depends on the the top guys making as many mistakes as you making big calls.
Double game weeks and chips are a certain way to lose major ground if you're not on it.

Regret keeping Grealish on the wildcard now. *sigh*

Grealish > Barnes next week then.
