Also good that Chilwell starts. Would have had Dias come on otherwise.
This City performance is making me want to bring in Foden or Gundogan for Soucek. Foden always feels like a risk but always impressed with him when he does play.
Don't fall into the trap. Whenever he plays like this, he gets benched.

I really need to get myself a brilliant starting 11 and a really basic bench. Gonna have near 30 on the bench this week again, and in the 3 weeks previous have missed 15 point hauls by Soucek (twice) and Bamford

Unless you really think that you can improve the first 11, I don’t see the point. Soucek is perfect price for a 5th mid. Bamford, depending on when you got him, is fantastic price for a third striker that’s starting every week.
I’ve still got Mitchell to save a little bit of cash, but I also had 10 people play a few weeks ago, so it will definitely pay off having a stronger squad.
I think it's time for all of us to kick on in your mini leagues and get the edge with double gameweeks and the massive GW26 coming up! I need to make up 75 points.

Went from 30 to 58 with Chilwell pending today. Despite the multitude of feck ups this week, somehow I've done ok. But still painful that if I just left my team the way I wanted to initially, I'd be looking at closer to 70+
I am annoyed for selling Chilwell. Did not want to risk 10 men again, but now everyone plays anyway.

Ha. The only way to help that is log out. You can guarantee as soon as you weakened the bench, you’d get injuries and suspensions.

Kane coming back is a bit of an arse though. That requires thought, as I don't think I've ever had a better balanced squad. So good that i'm losing a decent score on the bench each week - 15 for Bamford 3 weeks ago, 6 for Watkins last week, and 12 for DCL this one!
With Kane back, all us managers enjoying the rich life will be back to having 0.1 on the bench

So in a way, no need to have so strong a squad, but with covid and packed schedule doesn't hurt.
What I will do is shift one of my 2 expensive keepers. That was a very temporary move to get Pope lined up for next week, to not waste a free transfer.

The ridiculous thing was that it wasn't even the top score in my league.
Our leader scored 144, and beat me by Darlow of all bastads saving from whichever Villa player it was at 93:40, to get 1 more save point! Genuinely couldn't believe it.
I think I'm only top 94,000 to be honest.
The days of coming top 10,000 for 4 years in a row 2008-2012 would take almost miraculous efforts these days with so many playing!
