Fantasy Premier League 20/21

Good so far. 10 points from Martinez, 12 from Fernandes and 11 from Watkins, 6 from Dias. Grealish and DCL disappointed but 42 points with Salah (C), Cresswell, Bowen, Bamford and Dier to go is a good return. I have benched Son which may come back to haunt me though.

Nice to see KDB blank again. ‘Essential’ :lol:

I don't know why you'd have Lamptey in on a wildcard honestly. He's useless on a single gameweek never mind a double.

If that's a wildcard then I'd favour Bamford over Antonio as well if you can afford it.

And if you need money to improve areas consider Vardy over Kane.
 
Sold KDB for Son 2 gws ago and was a bit worried about this one today. Thought City and KDB could go nuclear.
 
Which player do we think will get rested?

Salah, Son safe given they have extra day to rest?

De Bruyne safe to play or time to sell him? Vardy playing all games over christmas?
Bruno probably not resting either, but who knows?

Debating the same. I need to get rid of either Mahrez or Sterling and bringing in Son me thinks.

Mahrez might play I think, but not sure if he is worth holding for long. Sterling could easily get a rest.

I am not feeling great about Mourinho over christmas, but I am holding Son. He should play at least and could get something.

Lamptey is already in my team. I've had him since the start of the season and I think he has some use, albeit not in the DGW. I don't see many good options priced at 4.5m anymore.

Bamford is a good shout though I need 0.1m to get him in which should be easy enough.

Jinxed that one pretty bad. Grealish lost a points and KDB/DCL scored 4 points combined. Sitting at 48 points now with Salah(c),Bamford(V), Alioski and Coufal left

Weirdly the leaker is now claiming this was a fake team to try and detect a mole?
 
December is officially my worst month after such a successful November with me topping my mini league with my colleagues. What a disaster. KDB has let me down 3 game weeks in a row. I'm dropping him now. Annoyed. What makes it worse is I kept procrastinating and forget to make changes for this game week and I have two starters out, Lamptey on red card and Gabriel injured.

Does anyone know when does the first half of the season for FPL ends? I still have my wildcard but I have 2 free transfers so don't want to waste that. I think another poster told me before that the first half of the season ends by the end of this year so does this mean that I must use by wildcard by the next game week? The EPL season started on 12 September and will end on 23 May, so shouldn't the first half of the season end in January?

Needs to be used before the start of the next game week I believe. It’s always expires on the last game week before Jan.

Wildcard has to be used before Monday's deadline.

Yeh you've got until tomorrow 13:30 GMT. If you want my advice build a GW19 team with your wildcard. You are in a good position to make some ground up if you get the next few weeks right with planning.
 
Average was just 23 points for Boxing Day. Salah playing and probably gaining points will change that. Hoping for a prolific day from Bamford, Son, Kane and Dier.

2.5 million people have captained Salah. I don't think it's gonna make much diffference. Hope I'm wrong though because I could do with some more points.
 
Salah is the least of my concerns. He’s my captain, as he is with all my competitors as well. It’s the other 5 playing today that are essential.

Bamford starting the show nicely!
 
Great start with Messler and Bamford getting bonus points too.

Probably too much to ask, but could really do with a Soucek goal here!

10 points for Martinez and 11 points for Meslier on my bench. I hope this bodes well for when I bench boost in the DGW.
