Fantasy Football 2017/18

I REALLY needed that Adrian clean sheet. I blame Mike Dean for not giving that foul on Lanzini, before the Son goal. Adrian was on course for 3 bonus points too :(

Anyway Adrian with 7 saves gets him an extra 2 points so I’ll take anything I can.

Glad I didn’t triple captain Kane, so that’s one positive.
 
You beauty Son. Got away with switching Pogba to him for a hit. Didn't benefit, but not the big loss it looked!

Ideally later on, somehow working in coverage for the tricky FA Cup quarter final, yet leaving yourself a full bench to use that chip later too!

Wouldn't dare take Otamendi out. He gets tonnes of points and scores a few too.

I always take a double check of the ">>" signs.
I always read them as being greater than, rather than merely meaning ..to
 
Have had an awful Christmas period so played my wildcard as soon as it came in. Team for next week:

--------------Pope
Walker - Alonso - Tarkowsky - Shaw
Lingard - Son - Salah - Mahrez
--------Aguero - Lukaku

Have some options on the bench in case Walker and Salah won't be fit.

I was questioning whether Spurs actually understood the meaning of double game week until Son saved the day. Players these days. Sheesh.
 
This was bad week, triple captained Kane and just found out the first wildcard i was saving til the double game weeks expired on December 30th.
 
feck sake. My rival in a private league played his free hit and looked like he completely wasted it. He got in Cresswell, Chicharito, Arnautovic, Kane, Trippier and Son... until his captain Son scored right at the end :mad:
 
Yep. Triple captain Kane fail. Still 32 points clear in my league though (guy below used his free hit) and have both of my other chips for later in the season. Happy with my squad too. Just a few tweaks needed.

Obviously I'll be bringing back Salah for Alli when the time is right (after the Man City game at least), will look to upgrade one of my weaker defenders to Shaw who's great value if he can stay fit and in the team and will probably need to move on DCL for an alternative cheapo striker. None of them are particularly pressing at the moment though.

I'm looking for a squad like this for the next few months...

When does new transfers change in FPL? Barkley to Chelsea hasn't happened and new boy Cenk (Everton) has also not appeared yet
 
What are the alternatives to DCL? Gonna need new 3rd striker bench fodder soon as I don't expect him to get the same amount of game time in the second half of the season.

I want to do this but can't quite convince myself that Lingard will score, he's not going to keep this up let's face it. He can't possibly keep scoring in every single game.

Now that you have said it, i am going to write it off. waste of a transfer. Hope Richarlison doesn't do anything worthwhile now.

I still think he's a great pick and I do want to get him in but I almost don't want to do it incase I jinx him or something :lol:
 
I've captained Lukaku this week. Risky as I have Salah, Kane, Lingard and Alonso who could all score well but I reckon this is the game big Rom comes back with a bang!
