Literally absolutely smashed it today - 106 points with five players left to play. No triple captain on Aguero either.

Went with Ighalo in the end and left Pelle on the bench, but with Ranieri the mentalist dropping Mahrez that means Pelle is back on the scene as first sub - Payet, De Bruyne and Silva rounding off the pack and all scoring well.

good job, I really want De Bruyne and Silva midfield pairing, but I choose Sanchez and Silva for variety. I might consider dropping Sanchez in the future because De Bruyne is a quality player who plays in winning side. Whereas Sanchez is quality aswell, but the team he plays for is not as mentally strong as Manchester City.

That's pretty fantastic. Which five players do you have left? If they're good picks you could get a pretty scary score this week...
 
Feck everyone with Aguero as captain. I have Pelle and Cabaye 14 points each and currently in Dream Team, and still only managed to get 65 points (though I have 5 players yet to play)
 
Quick q re auto-subs as I have no idea how they work...I had Ighalo on the bench this week (as my number 1 sub), and two players in my first eleven didnt play, so do I get points for him? Nothing's been added yet.

Took the captain off Aguero yesterday and gave it to Lukaku. Hoping for at least one more goal for Lukaku to at least take off some of the despair of that awful decision.

Cool, thanks man. Additionally...and much to my anger, both my captain (Mahrez) and VC (Sagna) didnt play. I assume those don't get transferred?
 
5 goals last week, now injured. Classic Aguero

At over £13m, he's way too costly to bench if he's out for more than a game or 2.

Without sounding harsh, am hoping it's a 2monther, as that'd make it a very easy decision to finally tuck into my wildcard, and do some magnificent surgery across the board.

How much more can you afford with that extra dough!

I just brought in Aguero for Rooney on Sunday night.

That doesn't always work if you're tight for budget, or someone has had a stormer and might rise 0.3m before you make your transfer.

Value can make a big difference early on.
It's a judgement call to get the right balance.

Oh, yes. Had Aguero captain and Silva to but the rest of my team were underperforming wankers. 71 pts. Was 33rd before last weekend now i'm 50th. Every single fecker must have had Aguero as cpt.

Will wait for confirmation on length of the injuries but contemplating using wildcard and rearranging the whole team.

Just seen Dier received a 5th yellow card to, suspended until the 24th. Same gameweek i put him in, what a twat.

Value will make no difference this season since the best teams don't cost 100. If you look at the leaders at the moment, all of them have a healthy surplus in the bank. And with everyone taking out their most expensive player (Aguero) soon, they'll have more money than they can spend.
 
This is where you earn your money - some huge decisions to be made this game week.

Actually thinking of bringing Costa in for Aguero, then Sanchez for Silva.

I did shit the next day - had good players but they did nothing, Barkley, Darmian, De Gea all had poor games.

Bellerin got 7 points IIRC and was my best performer on the Sunday.

That's a bit early to be saying that, especially as until Aguero's injury, it looked like the top value players were starting to emerge. Aguero 13m, Sanche 11m +. Hazard has started getting returns, despite Chelsea's bad form, 11m . De Bruyne, 10m +, Mata almost 9m.

There will come a time where value certainly matters, if the Mahrez/Payet types drop off, and you want as many of the above in as possible.
 
If i use a wildcard now, can i make as many transfers as i want? Can someone talk me through the steps so i don't lose points?

Using your wildcard allows you to make unlimited transfers until the next deadline (on Saturday, 11.45 I think?). After the deadline, it will be back to 1 free transfer a week, any more on top of that will result in the deduction.

Yep, if you play your wildcard then you can make as many transfers as you want before the deadline on Saturday.

I've activated one but when i'm making transfers; it still says negative x amount of points. Should i just ignore that?

That doesn't sound correct. I am pretty sure it should say "UNLIMITED" and points deduction should say zero. Post your team link here as there is a way to tell your wildcard is active

Send me a link to your tea, - click "Pick team" and copy that URL.

It doesn't look like your wildcard is active. You cannot play 2 of the "Chips" in the same gameweek. You have Triple Captain active so cannot play the Wildcard on top of that.

So in summary - do not click on confirm transfers as you will lost points!

I thought those 3 were the wildcards. Lol, ok, where do i find the wildcard?
