Best to wait for Eric's Collar now that he's managed to get the entire game this far.

Let's just hope his absence isn't caused by something bad. It does seem a bit odd that he hasn't logged on a single time for over a week now. Especially as he hasn't suggested that he would be gone for a while, on the contrary; it sounded like he expected the next round to kick off when he received the last tactics.

There could be trouble with his internet I suppose, but I always assumed that he was posting both from home and work.

We should give it some more time in my opinion.

Yes, we should wait for his return for two reasons:

1. It's his game
2. How to submit his tactics to even someone like Top?
 
Hey Guys.

Im so sorry about the delay in this, but I had quite a nasty accident last week and have been in hospital since. I just got released yesterday, and arrived back in Belfast today. I borrowed my housemates laptop to post this, as my own has been out of order for a while. Because of that, I was only able to keep this running through using the internet at my university. However, because of the accident Ill be continuing this term from home so I wont have access to the internet until a next week, or the week after when I invest in a new laptop. I dont want to ask you all to wait another week, you've waited long enough and I probably have so much coursework to catch up on anyway. Feel free to elect someone else to host the knockout rounds (I recommend Top if he is willing, as he has followed regularly but obviously thats up to you guys and him). It sucks that I cant keep this up, I was thoroughly enjoying it and thought it was going so smoothly but I just wouldnt be able to keep charge of it with limited access to the internet for the near future. I can forward the tactics you have all sent to whoever is chosen as the new host, again, sorry for any inconveniences. All the best lads.

Hope you're all right, I vote you take all the time you need to get everything sorted out before we continue, think we all have Inter on our minds for the time being anyway.
 
Damn mate - I was worried that something nasty had occured - best wishes for a quick recovery.
 
Anyone heard anything from EC? Hope he's ok.

Perhaps we should start considering carrying on with a new host?
 
I would happy to send everything to Top but i guess he needs to agree to it and it would be good to hear from Erics Collar as well
 
Hey guys,

Just wanted to say that ill hopefully have the thread for the first set of matches posted within the next 24hrs. Good to be back, and I appreciate the gesture of you all waiting.

Hopefully this will be a welcome distraction from the nervous ending this season looks set for.

Okay guys Ive posted the first match, before I post the rest im just wondering does anybody have any problems with the layout/format of it?

I have not edited anybodies tactics in any way so any errors in the text were already there, just in case youre wondering.

To be honest, it will actually work in favour of those with less text. People wont want to read huge blocks of text and may just read the smaller texts. However Im sure the majority of people wont even read tactics :(

I hope voters read my tactics. Bit lengthy but I put thought into it.

I agree Eric, after seeing the post, I think the people who wrote the shorter tactics have a bigger advantage :(
 
I had to tone my tactics down.

Probably best e-mailing them next time Eric. Just maybe create a new email if you don't want people to know your real one.

Thank feck for that. Took me bloody ages to do all that. Now to see if the admins will allow an avatar for the overall winner.
