Not really, it's been two days and we've had 7 picks.
I mean, in reality I think all the teams will be ready mid Feb, but then who cares?

I thought I had a fair idea, but most of my top choices have been taken...
I had 3 players (cantona, keane, schmeichel) I wanted as first pick but all have gone already - really not sure who to go for now
I believe I am right in thinking that if the next guy has not picked by 9pm tonight, then I can pick?
Imagine how tough it is for our first picks when we are lower down the order in it... But, we do get to pick first the second time round...

That's a strong CV, I say...So if M13 gets skipped, the draft goes on with out him. However does he get to toss out his pick anytime once he's been skipped, or does he have to wait for his turn again?
Think he gets to pick at the earliest opportunity...
As per what Erics_Collar was saying, M13 would get to pick any time that he does log in. So, those picking after him have to try to do as fast as possible...
I'd assume once all 16 have picked we revisit him and he picks then.
Considering members of the Cafe are going to be voting on this it wasnt very wise to pick the likes of Henry or Shearer ahead of Cantona or Keane.
Read towards the end of the first page of the thread and you'll understand what Eric's Collar was setting as rule for this aspect...

berkamp was actually the player i couldnt decide between with Scholes - to be honest on a general football forum i would probably have gone with Berkamp but since this is a United forum i am thinking there will be a bias toward United players in the voting

According to the rules hes set out you simply missed your turn. Now that you've made your pick the draft continues as it was and you get your next pick when the order reverses, just like everyone else.
Its ok mate - you stay in the same place in the order (i.e. after me on the next round of picks and before me the round after etc).
As mentioned, the rules just say you can make your pick whenever possible after missing your turn but the official order does not change.

Its no problem at all mate, it doesn't really affect the draft, it only really affects what players you can get yourself, but you still keep your original position. Besides, in Round 2 of the draft, roodboy comes before you anyway. and I come after you!
