I'm not better then that because i've seen Anthony's end product for a year now and its wildly inconsistent... especially his crossing, which is absolutely garbage. In fact Anthony hasn't got a single assist from crossing the ball for us yet!
He's got 2 (admitidly very good) assists from cutting inside and playing a decent through-balls from central areas - one to Case and one to Dalot, but again his end product/passing is far too erratic for that to be a consistent source of creativity for him. The other one was a cut across from a one vs one so Martial could tap in - something which he actually could do more of if he had better decision making.
I realise absence usually makes the heart grow fonder with players on the Caf, but I'm not going to pretend that Anthony hasn't been anything but extremely underwhelming so far, and I don't think having a proper striker will change it that much. Maybe he'll come good in his second season - but I'm not convinced.
Would he have been better then Pellestri last night? Sure why not, would have been a marked, incredibly, all action amazing performance? I seriously doubt it.
