Team sheet is incorrect for Chelsea - Kyle Scott and Ike Ugbo are starting in place of Sammut and Christie-Davies.Josh Grant also replaced the captain Clarke-Salter (must be injured or something)

shame Gomes isnt starting, hopefully he will get at least 15 minutes....

dont like the look of Kehinde on the wing, its a bit of waste as he is much better in the midfield as he is probably our best midfielder.

Chelsea 1-0. Top initial save from Bryne, almost made a excellent second save as well.

Been all Chelsea going forward to be fair, deserve to score

Chelsea are living up to their rep at this level. Different class so far.

Chelsea are clearly on another level to our lot.

Rashford, Dearnley and Gribbin have been completely isolated so far. Chelsea not giving us any time on the ball

I think we need to drop Kehinde into the midfield, and play a 4-3-3. We're struggling in midfield to keep the ball, Chelsea closing us instantly

They are stronger, quicker, better with the ball, better without the ball. The only area where we seem to match Chelsea is the ability to hit Chelsea-players with our passes. We are just as good as them in that area :)

one stride forward, 3 back, pass to our defenders and they thump ball forward to a Chelsea defender

TFM and Williams have been good, we'd be behind by a lot more if it weren't for them

Berbatov-esque control from Kehinde to being down that long ball from the back.. Probably our highlight of the half

2-0 Abraham scores.. Top finish, in off the post.

Can't see us coming back in this game unless we make some serious changes to our shape at half time

Abraham is a real monster.I really rate him last season but he does seem to take his game to an even higher level this season.

Rashford needs to stop thinking that he can outpace everyone.

Absolutely no threat from wide, someone should be trying to get in behind Dasilva but there is just nothing showing on either side. Its a stroll in the park for Chelsea's defence. Gribbin is invisibile, Kehinde has made some great touches but he is never in an effective area on the pitch, I don't know what position he is supposed to be playing. Everything is just nice touch from Kehinde, give the ball to Rashford and hope he somehow runs through 3 defenders who are physical beasts, its never going to work. Kehinde needs to go central, Gribbin and Dearnley need to pull the finger out and we need someone to offer something out wide. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like the bench offers any wide threat either other than maybe Kenyon, I've seen very little of him though.

Gomes is the best bet.Boonen can do it next season but he's too weak atm.

The problem with playing Kehinde or Whelan wide is they keep playing as if they're still playing centrally.Bit similar to Mata's in the 1st team.

Gomes isn't really a proper winger either though is he? I'd still throw him in there anyway as he will look to take his man on and drive an attack. There is simply nothing other than Rashford at the moment, so something needs to be switched up.

Yeah we don't really have a natural winger other than Dearnley.Kenyon and Makela are behind in the development curve due to their injury problems in the last 2 seasons.Boonen is still weak.Even if he's fit Buffonge is quite similar to Kehinde from what I've seen.
