FA Premier League 21/02/25 - 23/02/25

I do believe Liverpool wins this title but we've all seen enough of Arsenal and Liverpool getting late wins over the last few years to give in to all this negativity
Any sort of dominant contender would easily challenge pool. They've not been great at all for large parts of the season.

If they lose Salah to an injury even this Arsenal has a shot.

Though losing today would make it difficult.

If they lose today, even I'll put my hands up and say it's likely all over.

Given I hate both Arsenal and Liverpool equally, I just don't really get into the whole jinxing stuff going on when both these teams play. They're messing it up today but if they'd gotten (or do get) the win, they'd be 5 behind a wobbling Liverpool. I've just been rational without giving into the hyperbole.
Away from the keyboard you wum.

Actually it's just Premier League. It hasn't been FA Premier League in about 18 years now.

That's my point?

Your point is irrelevant when you’ve won just one title in 30 years. Calling Arsenal "not a serious side" like your club has been sweeping up league titles is laughable. I don’t care if you were up against a great City side - fact is, you weren’t good enough. And to come on here talking with that level of arrogance, when you haven’t even won the league yet, is beyond infuriating.

With Saka yes.

Their forward line is trash though. Liverpool have more options.

Arsenal are such bottle jobs. Can’t even muster a challenge to the title, yet their fans have the ego of Real Madrid fans.

Nailed on for Liverpool now. Sake.

Arsenal would have two more Premier League titles if they were competing against this Liverpool side in the past two seasons and not City. Bizarre point.
He seems to be on the wind up, but its dead banter for precisely this reason.

Not convinced. Our points per game this season is pretty much exactly what theirs was last season, and they always seem to stumble when they're given a chance to challenge.

Would be sort of funny if this version of City stumbled into 2nd place.

Not sure these results are affecting Everton or United are they?
Yes they are but minimally. On one hand the teams around both of us in the league are all picking up points and the teams in the bottom 3 are all losing. A win for either of us today makes us far more comfortable in terms of safety and also maintains a push for top 10.

It'll be interesting if they can match spurs title challenge and finish 3rd in a two horse race

This has to be the most perpetuated nonsense of the last decade. It was Arsenal two were up for the title that season, went through a slump, and then recovered to finish 2nd.

Spurs were never top, nor in the title race - just briefly 2nd.

If you say so :+1:
