Slots landed on his feet as he inherited a team that has a world class Salah and VVD in it. You don’t need to do much with that team outside of minor tweaking. Liverpool under Klopp have been hilariously pipped by Guardiola to a lot of domestic trophies and a few Champions Leagues by Real Madrid, so they’re still hungry to win stuff but Salah and VVD aren’t getting any younger.
I feel exactly the same way. It's become very uninterestingly boring and there's no joy anymore that comes with supporting your team. It's a complete and utter mess. We went from being the best to the laughing stock of the league.

This season feels like things have reset. Liverpool aren't as exceptional as the 19/20 side but they don't need to be and they are extremely organised and can be trusted (unlike Arsenal).

He built a team about to get back on their rightful perch for years to come. The players he brought in have blossomed and Slot has tweaked the style of play. So not a fraud as you very well know. But I get the clinging onto something, anything.
