FA Cup Final: United v City

Can we please win today and lift my mood up? I really had a rough and awful week. :(

The BBC showing clips narrated by people with comedy exaggerated Manc accents.

City look scruffy as hell. Surely it's not difficult to put on a suit.

Is this the thread to be in or the other one?

Anyone else feel physically sick ahead of these games...?

Casemino, a new signing in midfield! Or maybe it's half Casemiro, half Minamino?

The drop from a player of Rashford's stature to second and third rate players like Elanga and Weghorst is the stuff of nightmares. Lets hope Rashford keeps injury free for the 90 mins

That's the XI I predicted after Martial's latest injury. I never believed Antony could possibly make it back so soon.

Really poor bench - thank God for Garnacho, at least we've got one attacking threat to bring on. Really hope we don't get any attacking injuries as I don't want to see the likes of Elanga and Weghorst, and to an extent Pellistri, for long.

Anyone else feel physically sick ahead of these games...?
Back in the late 90's I used to throw up so much every Saturday and Sunday morning that I got stomach ulcers about the weekends football. I became really ill where I was in a very bad way. I believe to this day, no one has been in my state.

Luckily I don't give 2 shifts these days and have been a season ticket holder for decades. I have recovered from that awful illness.

However last night in ages I did not sleep worrying and all this morning I have been a bag of nerves. Hopefully my pain is put at ease early on just after 3pm.

The best XI we realistically could have put out.

Don't know which thread to park myself in

With the limitations of Fred and Eriksen being clear to everyone, including presumably Guardiola and the entire Man City team, Casemiro will have to be at the absolute top of his game today. We can’t afford a single casually misplaced pass or reckless tackle from him, or it could be game over very quickly.

Pep still dresses like a kid.

Not a bit of wonder he thinks he was a child in 1999.

If we go a goal up, at least we can bring on Maguire, McTominay and Weghorst to defend for our lives.

you want to see why City are out of reach right now....just compare the benches and that gives you the answer

Need to see Rashford or Casemiro smash a long shot or two at that Ortega fella.

Has looked pretty ropey to me.

Here's hoping we can spring an upset and stop the plastics from getting a treble, for pride and to stop most of the sports media wanking themselves silly over the sports washing sods.

That fecking front 5 and they still have Foden and Mahrez on the bench.

The last time I felt so confident we would lose was the 2010 champions league final against Barcelona and that was against arguably the greatest team of all time
Looking at our starting 11 today we honestly need a miracle to win.
