FA Cup 2023/24

Colwill is replaced by Gilchrist in the lineup, so now even our not-a-left-back left back is out.

Tottenham short on Son and Bissouma look on paper, less dangerous than usual in midfield and going forward.

Chelsea reverting to a midfield three with Enzo, Caicedo and Gallagher. Not sure why seeing they won 6-1 with a double pivot...

Chilwell spared with the Premier League in mind?
Think that's what they're doing, yea. A bit disappointing considering he looked quite good in the recent league cup game, but I believe it's sensible to have a longer view in mind. Could see him coming on early in the 2nd half though.

Playing against Aston Villa rather than a lower league side might have something to do with that.

Please McCoist and not Dublin, please for fecks sake I plan to watch this game with the sound on

A bit unlucky it was deflected in and a bit lucky it was handball, but we have to be more alert when the ball is played short.

Madueke has to do better there.

And now Palmer misses a 1 on 1 after stealing the ball. We really do miss an insane amount of chances.

City’s press is ridiculous. Like theyve all snorted a few lines before kickoff. You’d never see our lot putting in this much effort.

Bobb seems like a clone of Sane.

Been quite dominant this half, so I guess it's only a matter of minutes until Villa score.

You would see glimpses of it for the first few months of our manager's tenure before the players decided they've had enough of the pressing malarkey and fancy a new voice.

City have been really good, as have Spurs centre backs but Spurs keep fecking up the counter. They're bound to get it right one of these times.

Swear we see an issue with an official's 'communication device' several times a month in England. I assume it's for VAR comms. Another drawback of the system.

Played them off the park so far. Should be 3-0 up. So, naturally this will end up in a 1-0 Villa win.

Werner does nothing. Makes weird passes that take 3 years to decide on.
