Max was like 3 or 4 seconds ahead of Perez in the final lap. Would have been different if Perez had been able to keep up but he didn't.

16s is more than enough with VSC for most tracks, I believeMax caught up 6 seconds on Lewis because of Perez. He was about 10 seconds off Hamilton when Latifi crashed. Don't know if that's enough of a buffer even under yellow flags.
Though the main point of contention is still how Perez "sacrificed his entire season"
He's very very fast. Give him the car and he'll be there or there about's no doubt. In equal machinary I don't think there is much separating the likes of Verstappen, Norris, Russell. LeClerc very quick on one lap pace but over his consistency is iffy.
All world champions end up being dicks while they're winning so much, it's always been that way. I actually can't remember a multiple world champion that was actually likeable while they were in the middle of winning all around them. It's very fecking rare.

The thread today has been pretty tame.
Vettel being a very good example of this. He was unbearable and an outright twat while winning all the time. Ever since he stopped winning, he became such a great guy.

Given that Checo has been a brilliant wingman, has regularly sacrificed his own race for Max, yet even with the championship sewn up Max refused to help him out. That's about as petulant is it gets.

You're probably right that most people, me definitely included, aren't neutral. But there's a difference between favouring one driver and going full on North Korea about it
Yeh I agree, I've never really liked Max myself aswell, but he's definitely been worse since he's started winning alot.

I make no secret I am no Max fan , but I give credit when it is due , I always have.
I am Lewis fan, but if he cocks up I will say so and I have many times.
Even Schumacher let Rubens win as “payback” after he won the world championship and it was a dead race [following Rubens letting MSC win a race when he was leading for the title]. No excuses for Max.

Yeh I agree on that aswell, I actually think it's Marko more than anything because Horner wasn't that bad years ago when the team first started out and the few years after that. I think Marko is like an infection to people in that team

Max isn't my boy, I support Ferrari and like Leclerc.
Perez has been way slower than Max this year, and wasn't anywhere near Verstappen to even help him, even if he wanted to.
