That yellow is a thing of beauty. One thing that Ferrari got right.
Confusing as feck!As far as I understand it, yes.
If any of Hamilton, Perez and Sainz qualify behind him, within 5 places, his penalty is effectively reduced.
So all 3 qualify behind him and I think he'll end up 4th
Year to me it makes sense to apply then bottom up rather than top down.It doesn't make sense, I think they should be applying the bigger penalties first, maybe someone got that wrong.
The fact they haven't even given the corrected grid yet shows Sky dont know, maybe the FIA cant even work it out
What happened to Alonso?
Grid for the race
1. Charles Leclerc (FERRARI)
2. George Russell (MERCEDES)
3. Lando Norris (MCLAREN)
4. Max Verstappen (RED BULL)
5. Daniel Ricciardo (MCLAREN)
6. Pierre Gasly (ALPHATAURI)
7. Fernando Alonso (ALPINE)
8. Nyck de Vries (WILLIAMS)
9. Guanyu Zhou (ALFA ROMEO)
10. Sergio Perez (RED BULL)
11. Nicholas Latifi (WILLIAMS)
12. Esteban Ocon (ALPINE)
13. Sebastian Vettel (ASTON MARTIN)
14. Lance Stroll (ASTON MARTIN)
15. Valtteri Bottas (ALFA ROMEO)
16. Kevin Magnussen (HAAS)
17. Mick Schumacher (HAAS)
18. Carlos Sainz (FERRARI)
19. Lewis Hamilton (MERCEDES)
20. Yuki Tsunoda (ALPHATAURI)
No MikeyA Michael Masi addendum means that provisional grid is wrong, maybe.
His time was faster than Gas and Ric.Deleted lap time for his quickest lap. Went wide at the second Lesmo.
His time was faster than Gas and Ric.
Cheated or made a mistake of going wide.He cheated though, and so wasn't faster
Cheated or made a mistake of going wide.
Why?Same thing. Should make an apology.
Why?
If only drivers had to apologize when they made a mistake.
Too much of this slowly creeping into society. I remember a time when people held themselves accountable for their actions, and quite rightly held their hands up when they made a mistake. I'm sure when he reflects on this, he will come out and issue a statement.Weird he thinks he can just mess up and not apologise, no? Totally unaccountable.

Ok so how do we think Ferrari will feck it up tomorrow?
So apt.
Isn't he supposed to be quite good? Won the Formula E last year and the F2 in 2019. I think I read a while ago that he's unlikely to make it in F1 either way, as he doesn't have a lot of financial muscle behind him. (And probably also isn't that great.)TIL DeVries is actually 27
I think Merc kept him on the shelf for far too long.Isn't he supposed to be quite good? Won the Formula E last year and the F2 in 2019. From the F1 reddit
Uses to be common back 30 years ago to get into f1 around that age. However i agree i think he may have missed his f1 window, unless williams dump the hapless latifi. Many motorsports outside f1 where you can make a name for yourself and good career money.TIL DeVries is actually 27
Any predictions for Ferrari blunders?
For a circuit that is 99% of the time a one stop. There really isnt much ferrari can cock up. But they will find a way..Any predictions for Ferrari blunders?
It took the sport's governing body almost four hours, as they decided how to implement the varied penalties that nine drivers were facing for exceeding their allowance of new car parts.

I dont think they will feck it up, I just think Max will be too much for them.Tifosi will riot if they feck this up
Yeah I can see him being punchy also, Leclerc will not make it easy for him, but I expect Max to be leading within 10 laps.Leclerc will be punchy today, if Max is going to beat him then he’s going to make it as hard as possible I think, we saw that with Leclerc vs Hamilton here before
Within 10 laps??? If he wins it will definitely happen after the pitstops. Won't be as easy as Zandvoort or Spa.Yeah I can see him being punchy also, Leclerc will not make it easy for him, but I expect Max to be leading within 10 laps.
His only challenger is Leclerc, no it wont be easy.Within 10 laps??? If he wins it will definitely happen after the pitstops. Won't be as easy as Zandvoort or Spa.
