F1 2022 Season

It doesn't make sense, I think they should be applying the bigger penalties first, maybe someone got that wrong.

The fact they haven't even given the corrected grid yet shows Sky dont know, maybe the FIA cant even work it out
Year to me it makes sense to apply then bottom up rather than top down.

I get that the system is ridiculous when you have that many dropping but 5 places becoming 2 for Max while 10 becoming 6 for Perez doesn't exactly seem fair.

Weird he thinks he can just mess up and not apologise, no? Totally unaccountable.
Too much of this slowly creeping into society. I remember a time when people held themselves accountable for their actions, and quite rightly held their hands up when they made a mistake. I'm sure when he reflects on this, he will come out and issue a statement.

Too late. I'm already tweeting up a storm. Sign my change.org petition please. Enough of these "mistakes". He's got to go.

Russell should have a quiet race for a while once Max sails past. Will be looking forward to seeing if he can hold off Sainz and Perez later on, not expecting so on this track even if race pace is better.

Watching that Leclerc's pole, are we ignoring purpoising now when it's not affecting you-know-who?

Ferraris are bouncing like crazy on literally every track this season, and I am not sure we've read once Sainz and Leclerc complaining and making big deal out of it.

Ok so how do we think Ferrari will feck it up tomorrow?

TIL DeVries is actually 27 :wenger:
Isn't he supposed to be quite good? Won the Formula E last year and the F2 in 2019. I think I read a while ago that he's unlikely to make it in F1 either way, as he doesn't have a lot of financial muscle behind him. (And probably also isn't that great.)

I think Merc kept him on the shelf for far too long.

Uses to be common back 30 years ago to get into f1 around that age. However i agree i think he may have missed his f1 window, unless williams dump the hapless latifi. Many motorsports outside f1 where you can make a name for yourself and good career money.

i think, if anything, it shows there aren’t enough rules and penalties. having even more rules and penalties would make it so much clearer.

Leclerc will be punchy today, if Max is going to beat him then he’s going to make it as hard as possible I think, we saw that with Leclerc vs Hamilton here before

Yeah I can see him being punchy also, Leclerc will not make it easy for him, but I expect Max to be leading within 10 laps.
Within 10 laps??? If he wins it will definitely happen after the pitstops. Won't be as easy as Zandvoort or Spa.
