Also Max has spun, been held up by Russell and made an extra pit stop and has still overtaken Perez with 19 laps left. That’s what, probably 40 seconds time he’s gained on track?
This is what Charles needs but Sainz is fecking useless, could say the same think about Bottas from last season.
He’s far quicker than Perez so what can they do in that situation? Let Perez try hold him off and risk them both going off?
Team orders are shit, but everyone does them. They might as well have said “max might win the WC, you won’t..”

i wonder if max will demand sergio’s wife this evening. it will depend how much the heat has taken out of him. though horner may just tell him to lie still and demand sergio guides him in.

I doubt sainz or george or max moves over for their teammates, when fighting for the win. Specially on race 6. You know whats happening but thats what perez is here for.

So harsh on Perez, especially this early in the season and with Max taking the lead of the championship even from second place.
Why isn’t Sainz getting close to Bottas ?

Get in Lewis - hopefully taken a point off Max. Fingers crossed that helps LC at the end of the season.
Perez is just ok, that’s the issue. Max is top tier, Perez is great on his day but doesn’t belong in a top team really. Max will monster Perez 99% of the time.

Just feels a bit too early to be doing it though but it's the RBR way of doing it, this goes back to the Vettel days.
Surely driver of the day goes to the guy who told Hamilton to do what he's paid to do. If it wasn't for that guy, Hamilton would have retired after a few laps

To think he was going to throw his toys out of the pram.
they clearly changed his strategy to engineer this. that’s their prerogative as a team but doesn’t make for great viewing when the only team currently able to challenge them doesn’t have the same luxury.
Basically how we all imagined it then...before Max catches Perez, let’s remember how good Perez can be at defending.. then let’s watch what happens
