Sorry I wrote it in a wrong way... I meant they have retained it. I have seen the McLaren leaks on the front pullrod set up and rumours are Ferrari are switching to pull rod aswell.Pushrod has been the standard for quite a few years now. Though apparently McLaren will be going with a pulllrod setup this year, if the 'leaks' are anything to go by. Hopefully we will see later when they unveil their car (if they do an Aston and show the real car anyway).

I totally agree. You can't go changing the rules in the middle of the race. Then to come out after the race and say the Race Director has the right to change the rules if he wants is diabolical.any one see the cry more hamilton fan boys at aston moaning, crying about the final few laps of last year? crazy the lengths hamilton fans will go to.

I think we can confidently say that nobody is sharing the things that actually matter.If it's their real car they really slept on a lot design decisions compared to what Aston Martin did. If what Aston Martin did will work is another thing but I'm confident that they can compare in the wind tunnel and simulations how their design compares to design which is similar to demo car, which McLaren car is.

Fully agree.Whatever the outcome, I just hope that it is not just a change of race management.
Never again can it be allowed for the race director to so comprehensively rob a driver, whoever he is of a legitimate race win and with it, the World Championship.

And nobody is showing off the underside of their cars ... Every car will look fairly similar, but that extra 10% will be what makes the difference. Mclaren have certainly hidden plenty.
I doubt we will see most of it until the last week of testing from all teams. By that point it's too late to be copied.

Agreed on that. I doubt many things will come much of a surprise anyway, usually the only things are loopholes. If the leader has completed 25% but less than 50% of the scheduled race distance, points will be awarded as follows:
1st – 13 points

The FIA has chosen not to disclose the findings of its inquiry into the controversial climax of the Formula One world championship-deciding Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last season. The sport’s governing body presented its report to the teams on Monday but in the forthcoming days will reveal only its plans of proposed changes.
