Hopefully when the new regs come in, the field will be closer. If you take out the two Mercedes this would’ve been a great championship. Anyone can have p4 onwards on their day.
Don't think so, don't think the engine mode ban made any difference at all. Just not Red Bull's track.Wasn't it Red Bull who wanted party mode being stopped to catch up with Mercedes? Has it backfired?
Mercs don't care about the slipstream, they are out first and the rest follow.

Was thinking that. I wonder what time the Mercedes would have done with a tow?Don't think so, don't think the engine mode ban made any difference at all. Just not Red Bull's track.
Would have been even more ridiculous I'm sure. Hamilton lost a bit of time in the final sector and still managed that lap, could have found another tenth at least even without a tow.Was thinking that. I wonder what time the Mercedes would have done with a tow?
Bottas sounding increasingly frustrated.
Would be nice if he couldLewis 94th pole, could he make 100 this season ?
If we took Liverpool & City out of the league you could argue the same thing. If you take out the two Mercedes this would’ve been a great championship. Anyone can have p4 onwards on their day.

Spectacularly backfired.

Just have to except what a exceptional team Mercs are along with Hammy.
I have faith that one of these days Bottas becomes so fed up that thats exactly what he ll do.«Well done guys, that was just well done. Good effort by everyone» bla bla -> Lewis Hamilton after winning yet another boring race tomorrow afternoon. 1.28 odds to win, basically the bookies only think he’ll lose if someone rams him out of the gates.
The onboard today showed the Merc is almost a perfect car in every way, I don’t think I’ve seen such a difference in cars my whole life other than the first few races where Brawn had the double diffuser. Maybe the Williams in the 90s but I think drivers helped make a difference, here even Bottas is smashing it.
A good shout, but can we say someone who won 1 Olympic gold is our greatest ever sportsman?Jonathan Edwards would count on that criteria. Still got the world record 25 years later and it's not looking like it will be beaten any time soon. He was also head and shoulders above the rest for a number of years.
Another good shout, he’s absolutely in a class of his own. I think Peaty’s issue is he’s a single stroke/length specialist, which in swimming puts him behind quite a few others.Adam Peatey too, breaks his own world record most months.
True, and I think he would likely be my number 2. I think the prominence (or lack thereof) of rowing probably just does for him.Steve Redgrave. Won pretty much every time he got in a boat.
The Mercs will be out in front from the start, barring machinal fault, the winner will be one of those, most likely Lewis.I just hope this race isn't over after 1 lap like the last one
I really want to love F1, but they make it such hard work.
Yeah, that is a nice touch. They totally deserve it, heroes all of them.Nice touch letting doctors and nurses in the stands to watch, 250 all heroes.
It is, just ignore who wins and enjoy the rest of the race. It's not all about who wins.I just hope this race isn't over after 1 lap like the last one
