Boring qualifying. Ferrari giving up with more than 5 mins to go. Makes no sense to have this sort of qualifying session as Mercedes is quicker than the rest who will not bother and just try to save their tyres.
If thats the best we can expect from qualifying this season , then F1 have shot themselves in the foot, this is not going to bring fans back , in fact the opposite.
They should scarp it now and revert to what we had last season with a few tweaks.

I thought Q1 and Q2 were quite interesting with the new format but it's clear after 1 session that Q3 worked better with last year's.
I was excited at the new format but after watching it , it does not work, Q1 was better than other years, but for me Q2 and Q3 were dreadful, it really needs sorting for the next race.
According to Toto Wolfe they made the changes because the "ticket sellers" were not happy, bet they're chuffed with that Q3 session
