F1 2016 Season with Fantasy League see Threadmark

Damn that pesky 'MGUH'.

He could start in the pit lane and it'd be a poor drive to not get on the podium with that speed advantage.

:lol:Enlightening interview with Lewis there.

Lewis' issues are really starting to undermine this season, hopefully they can fix them sooner rather than later. As far as Nico is concerned, fair play to him but he's running the risk of being an asterisk champion at this rate.

Vettel and Hamilton out of the equation and Kimi still can't get a front row start... Such a waste of a seat.

Was Lewis an asterisk champion when the only competition he faced was from a weak teammate in Nico?

At least his competition from Nico in the same car. So far this year Lewis mechanical problems are stopping him from competing.

I really hope he doesn't sulk, in 2015 when he had a run of problems the gap was 70 points behind at one point. Judging by that interview he is fed up but he should get 2nd which isn't the worst outcome from that.

You see, you kind of making my point for me by calling Nico "weak team mate". For a guy like him to win a championship he'll need things to go in his favour because he probably would not win if everything was equal. Lewis has proven above and beyond that he doesn't need that kind of help. Think Button in 2009, a quintessential asterisk champion. I know, I'm kind of being a hater right now, a spoil sport if you will.

So if we accept that Nico was weak last year we should consider Lewis' last WDC as having an asterisk then, surely, seeing as he faced zero other competition.

Yeah you can put an asterisk on Lewis' title if you wanna. He's multiple times a winner though, proven above and beyond.

I don't wanna, I'm trying to make the point that the idea is daft. Whoever wins the WDC deserves it.

Button's big car advantage had largely gone by the second half of the season but he's still looked at as a less deserving champion by some. It's wrong.

Just something else to argue about my friend.

Feel sorry for Hamilton, he's finally matured as a person and driver but yet again unreliability of his car/team is fecking him over. Rosberg has had his fair share of unreliability in the past few years though. Not as much as Hamilton though, unluckiest guy on the grid.

He seems much less of a bad loser which is weird giving the way he is losing compared to past years.

Part of me thinks Lewis has achieved what he set out to from the start, which was to emulate Senna with 3 WDC's, and now that he has he's not as intense and he takes everything as bonus really. Don't get me wrong he's still driven to win but I think he more wants to enjoy the luxury of being a F1 driver and driving the fastest car on the grid.

Poor Vettel... It'd be nice if we could have just one clean race for him and Lewis.

yes they did.
:lol:Cue loads of apologies from the commentator no doubt. Thought Virgo dropping the 'f'-bomb yesterday was the sporting highlight of the week til this.
