    Half-time
How you boys watch this every week is beyond me. Don't mind watching a team lose, this shower don't deserve any of our time.

Chasing a RW for ages, pay 73m for Sancho, and still need to sort out the position. Might as well play Mata, they offer similar pace and off the ball running.

Sancho was absolutely abysmal that half. We need to move him on and try to get back some money on him. Depay mk2.

at least I can take respite in the fact you’re nowhere near decision making at the club

It’s laughable to have a go at him for that. Deflected shots happens all the time and it has feck all to do with how good or bad the defender is.

He's stiff as feck. He can't position his body correctly. It's like hitting a pinball post, it can go anywhere.
It's no coincidence every team shoot at him.

Their goal is actually comedic. Seeing the replay at half-time. Comedy of errors.

Having AWB who does no overlapping runs, is a massive problem

I agree but I don't think we've looked much better on the right with Dalot either. I feel like rb should be a huge priority in the summer yet I'm not hearing us linked with anyone atm which would concern me.

Happen to him all the time you mean, fed up the amount of times he doesn’t block properly or the ball just goes clean through him.

What is the point of those brainless 30 yard high ball passes by our back 4 from our backline to the midfield? Such passes invite pressure on us

Surely it's clear by now that this team plays horrendous football no matter who the manager is. Or are we going to blame the sixth consecutive manager for the exact same problems, as if each and every one over the course of a decade all magically happened to have precisely the same shortcomings?

Your logic would be sound if the squad was exactly the same throughout the tenures of those six managers. With the exception of 2-3 players the squad is now entirely different. The coaching has been abysmal.

even with all the bad things we are doing, I'm not even sure their goal was even on target before the deflection

Sancho’s inability to take someone on around the outside is becoming a growing problem.
It is if you buy him and expect him to do stuff he never used to do on the regular before you bought him (ie play him on the right and expect him to keep whipping crosses in). Now we're shunting Sancho out to the right in order to accomodate Rashy on the left.

Rangnick will be preparing a stern but fair even temperedly delivered half time team lecture, incorporating references to tactical failures of past European also rans and questions about whether anyone needs a consultant.

He'll spend 10 minutes on the phone to HR making sure that his talk won't breach any employment regulations and the remaining 5 discussing with Phelan if employing a HR dressing room specialist will streamline team talk efficacy.

    what the actual feck?

Ohhh, he still thinks he's at Leicester, that's what's going on here.
His brain works as fast as dial up modem internet from the 90's
  Too much brainfarts. He's no longer approaching Phil Jones level, he is the new Phil Jones. I don't see a recovery from this.
 I give up on him

I don't rate maguire and don't remember this exact moment but in the bigger picture surely he's calling for offside from the knock one where the Everton player runs from behind him? Or are we making stuff up to be annoyed by?

That's not Maguire's fault obviously, but he's become a bit of a meme at this point. Is there anyway to come back from that?

It's not, but how many deflected goals have gone in off him recently? Hes so slow to get out that he's always in the perfect spot for a deflected shot.

Poor match but it's disgusting how this match is being tagged on Twitter.

lobotomy, nah, nothing touches them, except money!
Would be great if RR says in dressing room: "You don't win this game you are all finned two weeks wages".
    Easy 1-9 win
Surely these performances are a breach of contract? I'm presuming it says on their contracts they will play football for Manchester United, not turn up and run around for a bit before going home again?

If you feel such a need to be wrong, then by all means.

It's difficult to understand the amount of stupidity required to believe that Maguire was the problem in that situation.

Yeah you should blame a guy who loses the ball over 60 yards from the goal instead:rolleyes:

Nothing goes for teams at the bottom they say yet Everton with 35% possession at the time and their first shot on goal score which would have been a routine save for DeGea if it didn't deflect off the mighty captain Maguire.

Everton fighting to avoid relegation have something to hold onto and the crowd are up for it. Do we really think this group of United players whos body language is dreadful will roll up the sleeves to turn this around?

Oh dear. De ja vu for Utd. Lots of passes but no real quality.

Ragnick is so uninspiring, why keep playing the same players that have proven for an entire season that they are abysmal and lack any spirit, why is jones on the bench whilst drips like lindelof, Maguire and bloody bissaka are starting he would show 10x the fight these lot would and rashford is a complete lost cause this season

That goal is on Matic, my eyes hurt just watching the replays.

The standard of our midfield is bad enough but the fact its not really been addressed for a few years is quite shocking.

Next season lads ... things will be better !

ole was given far too long in the job (at the time, I said he shouldn't get the job)

Maguire is shit but I doubt he’s asking for handball. He’s probably signalling to the linesman that his hand didn’t touch the ball. It’s a counter-appeal.

Hes calling for offside. The obsessive search for 'meme' moments is one of the more annoying modern football incarnations.

Incredible that you can blame Rangnick when the abject performances were there for months under Ole too. The squad we have is simply not good enough and the blame for that does not lie with Rangnick. 'You can't polish a turd' has never been a more apt expression here.

Crystal Palace have a far worse squad than us and were performing horrendously. Vieta has come in and transformed the existing squad. It’s incredible what a great coach (and not a spoofer like Rangnick) can achieve.

at least I can take respite in the fact you’re nowhere near decision making at the club because this is an awful take
Its not. He is useless. Its fc Martial all over again. At least Martial had one good season. Sancho offers nothing. There is no fight in him.
