Well that was an slow, dull, half of football. We looked ok for a small bit, but other than that we just seem to push the ball about in slow motion, and spend half the time dawdling on the ball before playing it back because every Everton player has had time to get back.

Sancho was absolutely abysmal that half. We need to move him on and try to get back some money on him. Depay mk2.
If we do what you and others are saying then we won't have any more players!

    United have been poor
    Everton have been poor
    Moss has been poor
    Let’s hope for a better 2nd half

Seeing Sancho today makes me think that no matter who plays on the right for us next season they will struggle. Seems much more like a structural issue in the team that forces all our play down the left or through the centre.
I think a RB who is actually good on the ball is worth trying. Our right side has just become an to use to recycle possession rather than actually do anything productive.

It's so predictable isn't it? Everyone has been taking points off this lot, then Man Utd roll into town and they're 1-0 up and we're just so passive. Everton haven't even been particularly good.

We have looked better in attack, but once again we cant score when we need to. Whoever gets the next goal will decide it. We havent got 3 goals in us at this present time.

Fair play to AWB... He knows what his strengths (well, one strength) is at least... Big meaty juicy slide tackle on offer? 100% commitment, concentration, application... Sprint into it and execute it perfectly...

Anything else at all? Well what's the feckin' point. Give about 50% and save myself for the next slide tackle

Yeah. If you have "unlucky" deflections bounced off of you five times as often as any other player in the country, is it really just bad luck or are you defending so poorly that it's a liability to your team? In many cases, a deflection is the result of a failed block. Maguire is just never in the right place when the shot comes.
There is a bad luck nature to it without a doubt, if you play at any level, you'd know. What I wanted to focus is how he reacted to the shot. I've seen CBs usually throw their bodies on the line

Everton are the worst team I’ve seen us play all season

And they’re still beating us easily

What a half. A total shit-off. We were marginally less shit than them, but they got lucky.

My biggest worry for the 2nd half, apart from Maguire, is the that rolling mess of a ref. He could do literally anything.
    Made me laugh out loud.

Rangnick has us playing absolutely horrendous football.

Surely it's clear by now that this team plays horrendous football no matter who the manager is. Or are we going to blame the sixth consecutive manager for the exact same problems, as if each and every one over the course of a decade all magically happened to have precisely the same shortcomings?

That's what Slabhead was supposed to be, wasn't he? Instead of a concrete wall, we get a sponge.

I love how people think he can't be blamed for that as if it's such a hard skill.

He is a defender standing in front of a ball going straight towards him.

He is supposed to be able to block it and not have it spin off him into the goal unless he is made of paper or a sponge as you say.

It's the easiest job he could have defending just standing there

We’re going to help this fat cnut stay up. Fuming

RR said a couple months back that we'll play with a 433. For whatever reason, we've gone back to a 4231, where Bruno literally gets to do what he wants. We have no structure, no gameplan to break teams down.

We started ok. Had a couple of half chances but since Everton have scored and dropped into a low block, we've kept possession without threatening.

Hard to believe ETH supposedly wants to leave his functioning football team to coach this headless mess. A mad man.

Perhaps he believes he can get something out of them.

I doubt United making him the highest paid manager in the game today has anything to do with it

Everton fans singing "you're not fit to wear the shirt" at DCL.

If the United fans had any sense, they'll start responding to it with "you're not fit to wear the skirt".

Can't wait for us to hand out the 1st team player of the year award.

This is a mess and a young fergie wouldn't be able to sort this out so ten haag has absolutely no chance. We're fecked, and until we start culling this squad nothing will change.

Don't know why anyone is surprised? Worst set of players we ever had thanks to Ole and his "rebuild"

Set the club back 10 years

If you feel such a need to be wrong, then by all means.

It's difficult to understand the amount of stupidity required to believe that Maguire was the problem in that situation.
You’re in ignore now pal. I bet a lot of things are difficult for you to understand so we’ll leave it at that.

We looked like we were in a good mood every now and then. Some good minutes here and there... but as usual we just couldn't finish it off. Kinda like Welbeck, but for the entire team. I said to my mate I'm watching the game with that they're gonna have one chance, score a shitty goal and we'll lose momentum and drop our heads... 5 minutes later they score that goal.

The scary part is that I don't get mad, it's like I just don't care any more... no expectations means less anger/irritation?

Sancho’s inability to take someone on around the outside is becoming a growing problem.

looking at their goal again - awb should never be allowed to pull on a united shirt again
